About Us
When we first met, there was an instant connection. We knew we wanted to spend the rest of our lives with each other. Eight years later, we are as happy as ever and strive every day to make each other as happy as possible. We are a perfect match and best friends who share our deepest thoughts with one another. As a fun-loving, happy family, we love making each other laugh and keep each other on our toes by acting goofy and carefree. Michael is looking forward to supporting our family in his role as a manager of sales, and Christopher is a stay-at-home dad and master blanket fort builder. We love to travel and go on a Disney vacation at least once a year as well as vacation with the whole family. We cannot wait to continue this tradition with the addition of our second child!
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in the suburbs of a large city with our beautiful daughter, Delilah. We currently reside in a five-bedroom, two-story home with a large backyard. Our area has a lot to offer; it provides one of the best school districts in the state, many parks, and an outdoor shopping mall where Chris walks around with Delilah when it is nice out. A huge bonus is that Michael’s immediate family all live in the same neighborhood as us. Delilah gets many weekly visits with her grandparents, aunts, uncles, and cousins!
Our Family & Friends
Michael has a large family, and we spend as much time as we can with our five nephews and six nieces. One of our traditions is going to Disney World as a family every year or two. We love that our daughter gets to experience the fun we share on these magical vacations. Both our families also love large family gatherings, like our Christmas Eve party. Chris’s family goes trick-or-treating every year as a family, and growing up, they were on the lake every weekend.
Our Adoption Story
Our journey started in late 2020 just prior to getting married. Almost two years to the date we got a call on Chris’s birthday saying that a couple was very interested in us. We reached out to the birth parents, who told us that they were picking us to adopt their six week old baby girl, Delilah. We were filled with joy, and spent the next two days buying everything we needed for our new baby.
