We know this is not an easy decision for you, and we are honored you are taking the time to view our profile. Please know that while we very much look forward to becoming parents again, you are and will always be their mother and are open to you being involved in their journey if you choose.
We will think of you often and how you are doing. If we are lucky enough to become parents again, know that your baby will grow up loved and surrounded by a family that will treat this little soul as one of their own. Your child will grow up loved! We are grateful for you and hope you find the strength you need in your journey.

Michael has a large family, and we spend as much time as we can with our five nephews and six nieces. Chris’ family is also growing and we spend much time with our niece and nephew. We often attend baseball games together, go to playgrounds and parks, the zoo and watch the kids have fun in our yards playing.
One of our traditions with our daughter is going to Disney World as a family every year or every other year. We love that she gets to experience her love for Goofy and Donald Duck and see them in person! Both of our families will often join, giving her a big group to share the magic with.
Both our families also love large family gatherings, we get together most holidays and usually do at least one trip a year (other than Disney) with our families. We enjoy the beach and experiencing nature and being outside. We each have a large Christmas Eve party with our families. We love that our daughter gets to have weekly dinner with cousins. Every Friday we go for pizza, or grill out when it’s nice, and allow them to visit and enjoy being outside.
Adoption in Our Lives
Our journey started in late 2020 just prior to getting married. Almost two years to the date we got a call on Chris’ birthday saying that a couple was very interested in us. We reached out to the birth parents, who told us that they were picking us to adopt their six week old baby girl, Delilah. We were filled with joy, and spent the next two days buying everything we needed for our new baby.
We had the opportunity to meet Delilah’s birthparents and have a discussion about how we’ll raise Delilah and that they can reach out anytime to us for an update or pictures. We will periodically hear from them as we’ve let them control the outreach. We upload pictures at least once every six months to a service and her birthparents can view and share in her journey as grows up.
