Our Hobbies & Passions
We enjoy day trips to catch baseball games, go to museums, eat at the many restaurants, or just sightsee in our beautiful city. After a day at work, we enjoy coming home to each other and playing board games or video games together. We are also passionate about food and enjoy cooking for ourselves and others–we even go to cooking classes to learn new recipes!
Michael is a kid at heart, proudly loving Pokemon and Super Mario almost his entire life. He bonds with his patients over their shared love for collecting Pokemon cards and playing Nintendo games. He also has a passion for helping others, which is why he loves being a doctor.
Lisa’s nurturing nature, calm demeanor, and motherly intuition with children stem from decades caring for children, ranging from babysitting in middle school to teaching children from ages 3 to 10 years old. Children love Lisa just as much as she loves them, and her spirit shines each day through her work as a special education teacher.

Our Family & Friends
Family is at the heart of our lives, and we feel incredibly grateful for the loving community that surrounds us. We both come from Italian-American families, where gatherings are loud, warm, and full of great food. Michael is an only child, but he grew up with dogs and a close-knit extended family who are thrilled to welcome a child. His parents still have dogs that are part of every family celebration. Lisa comes from a big family with three brothers, and she also grew up in a home where pets were treated like family.
Our friends are an important part of our support system as well. Many of Lisa’s closest friends have been in her life since childhood and even though they’re spread across the country, they remain incredibly close and supportive. Michael’s friends mostly live nearby and include people he’s grown up with, gone to school with, or connected with through shared hobbies like Pokémon card collecting.
Everyone in our circle—family and friends alike—is excited and ready to welcome a child with open arms, love, and joy.
