Meredith & Carson

In 2021, we started our story with a swipe on the Hinge app. We spent the first few weeks of the summer exchanging messages, each of us eagerly anticipating our first meeting. Our first date happened at Meredith’s apartment. Upon opening the door, we both were immediately captivated by each other. Love at first sight.

From that first date and onward our relationship blossomed. A day never went by that we weren’t either together or talking to one another. Many fun filled adventures happened. After about a year of dating, we moved in together. We then welcomed our first goldendoodle, Murphy, into our little family and shortly thereafter grew even larger with the addition of our two other goldendoodles, Tucker and Levi. In 2023, Carson proposed to Meredith at the lake on our two year anniversary. Then in 2024, we celebrated our marriage with friends and family in Georgia in a small chapel surrounded by Spanish moss-drapped trees.

Our favorite adventure was a two-week journey in France while Carson attended training for work. We stayed in Lille, a small city about two hours north of Paris. Most evenings were spent exploring the city and enjoying the local culture and cuisines, especially the pastries. One of the days we got to travel to Belgium.

The weekend we spent in Paris, where we explored iconic landmarks such as the Eiffel Tower, Notre Dame Cathedral, and Arc de Triomphe, was the best part of the trip. So many beautiful and captivating sites made this trip to the city of love a memorable and unforgettable experience that we will cherish for the rest of our lives.
