We are humbled and grateful that you have taken the time to consider our family to adopt your baby. We will never understand the magnitude of the decisions you have already made and the ones you will make in the coming days, but we do understand the love you have already shown your baby. We promise to continue loving your baby and will make sure they know the love and determination it took for them to become a part of our family. Our family is blessed to embark on this journey with you and your baby.
Our family-owned business has provided financial stability for us as well as allowing Meghan the opportunity to be home to provide a loving home environment for our family. We will raise your baby to know and trust God, love and help others, and always remember they were fearfully and wonderfully made. We hope to instill our sense of adventure and share our fondness of travel and new foods with your baby.
Your child will be raised covered in love by us, our daughter (who is so excited to be a big sister), our extended families, and our friends. We are blessed with a faithful and encouraging support system that has been a mainstay on our journey through the adoption process.

Our Family & Friends
Family, both biological and chosen, is important to both of us, and that is reflected in those who surround us. Meghan was raised in North Carolina but has lived in Louisiana and South Carolina. Meghan is an only child but grew up close to her cousins and extended family. They all live close to us, so we’re able to visit frequently and enjoy weekly dinners with her parents. Meghan’s family loves to cook, and we enjoy gathering for holidays and other get-togethers to eat and watch all of the kids play!
Burt grew up in Pennsylvania but spent time living in Florida before landing in North Carolina. He has two siblings who live in North Carolina (one right down the road and the other a few hours away), one in Pennsylvania, and one in Japan! We try to visit his family in Pennsylvania as much as possible and talk with all of them at least weekly.
We have several close friends we consider chosen family and spend many weekends traveling and four-wheeling with them. We are so blessed to have so many people in our corner who are thrilled and continually encouraging us on our adoption journey!
