Megan & Chet

Our favorite weekends are usually a mix of family, friends, and time together. In the summer, you'll often find us at the lake boating, swimming, or gathering around a bonfire with the people we love. We enjoy exploring new cities across the US and abroad, whether it's a weekend getaway or a bigger adventure.

At the same time, some of our favorite days are the simple ones. We love grabbing coffee, playing at the park with our niece, hosting family and friends, or lingering around the dinner table after a meal. We also enjoy taking advantage of everything the Chicago area has to offer, from museums and concerts to sporting events and seasonal festivals.

Whether we're heading out for an adventure or spending time close to home, we simply enjoy being together and sharing experiences with the people we care about most.

We live in a welcoming neighborhood filled with families, parks, walking paths, and a clubhouse with a pool. Our town is known for its excellent schools, access to nature, and small-town feel. Many of our favorite days are spent at the lake with family and friends, whether we're boating, swimming, or simply hanging in the backyard.

Our home is often filled with laughter, family visits, and the company of our pets. Lucy, our sweet golden retriever, is convinced everyone she meets is her new best friend. Echo, our cat, keeps us entertained with her playful personality. Whether it's Lucy greeting guests like old friends or Echo supervising from the sidelines, they're often the favorite part of our home for the little ones who visit.

We are surrounded by a close-knit family and a wonderful community of friends. Your child would grow up with grandparents who will get in the water, play in the sand, teach them new games, and cheer them on every step of the way. They will have cousins close in age, along with aunts and uncles who can't wait to welcome them into the family.

We live just minutes from much of Chet's family, which means spontaneous dinners, game nights, and everyday moments together. Many summer days are spent at the family lake house, enjoying time on the water and being together. Megan's family lives farther away, but we stay closely connected through visits, holidays, and traditions. Every summer and winter, we spend time together in Florida making memories through family celebrations and time at the beach.

Our friends range from neighbors who stop by for dinner to lifelong friends across the country. They have supported us through life's biggest moments and can't wait to welcome another child into our community. We feel grateful knowing our child will grow up surrounded by love, encouragement, and community.

What Megan Loves About Chet: Chet is steady, easygoing, and dependable. He's the first person friends and family call when they need help because they know they can count on him. He's also playful, adventurous, and never afraid to get a little messy. He brings fun and joy to everyday life, and I know those qualities will make him an incredible father.

What Chet Loves About Megan: Megan has a gift for making people feel included, valued, and cared for. She is everyone's biggest cheerleader and makes people feel seen and welcome. It's why her students adore her. I admire her kindness, thoughtfulness, and the way she brings people together. I know she will be an amazing mother.
