Laura
Is Hoping to Adopt a Baby
dear expectant mother
Hello! My name is Laura, and I am so grateful to have the opportunity to tell you a little about myself and my hopes and dreams for your child. Growing up, I thought a lot about my future self and eventual family. Even then, I remember wanting to incorporate adoption into my family somehow. My life has since turned out completely different. I joined the Air Force and have lived in Japan, Italy, and England, but unfortunately never found someone to marry or start a family with. I’m very happy being single and independent, but that call to motherhood is still very strong within me, and I am drawn to adoption more than ever. With a heart full of love and the perspective I’ve gained from living abroad and working as a pediatrician, I’m ready to give a child a loving, adventurous life and a bright future.
I also want you to know how deeply I respect your decision. Choosing adoption is truly selfless, and I know it comes with careful thought and love. I want to be there to help you through this time and I would love to share your child’s journey as they grow up if that is something you would want as well. We can be the perfect team for this child, I hope you consider me as an adoptive mother and I would love to talk to you over phone or video someday so we can get to know each other better!

Our Family & Friends
My family isn’t very big but we are very close and have a lot of love for each other. My mother is originally from Seattle and my father is from Baltimore; he moved to Seattle to be with my mother and that is where I was raised for my entire childhood. Now they live in northern Wyoming and absolutely love it. I have one sister and one brother, both younger. My sister still lives in Washington and is an art therapist, she helps people find creative (literally!) ways to work through their problems. My brother moved to Maryland and is an engineer working for the US Army. He is very secretive about what he does, but I’m pretty sure he gets to blow stuff up on a regular basis!
Unfortunately, my small family now lives very far apart. However, we keep in touch with phone and video chat, and every week we get together on Discord to play an online game. Right now, we are playing a game called Blue Prince, where we have to basically build a house then solve puzzles within it. None of us have children yet so the first grandchild that comes into our family is going to be doted on by my parents nonstop!
