Ashley & Kyle

Our greatest passion, first and foremost, is becoming parents to a healthy child. We also have a strong passion for all animals, especially our yellow lab, Beacon. Beacon has brought us so much joy since we rescued him last September. We enjoy training him and bringing him on our adventures when possible. We also love exploring coastal towns.

Ashley is passionate about family and friendships, as making time for the important things in life is dear to her heart. Ashley is very creative, which shows in her crafts and interior design and home projects. She actively enjoys gardening, cooking, and any time spent by the water or at the beach. These activities make her feel a sense of calm and peace.

Kyle is very passionate about his profession, coaching basketball, boating, paddleboarding, sports, and teaching his students about one of his favorite hobbies: fishing. Alongside coaching at his school, Kyle also sponsors a fishing club where students learn, practice, and eventually go fishing in a lake close to the school.

As we envision the future and the possibility of welcoming a child, we wanted to share a little more about the loving and vibrant community that surrounds us—a community that would embrace a child wholeheartedly.

Our lives are deeply intertwined with our friends and family. We are incredibly fortunate to have a large, supportive network that feels more like an extended family. Holidays are always a joyous affair, filled with laughter, delicious food, and cherished traditions.

We often talk about how much we look forward to one day doing all these things—the mountain adventures, the beach explorations, the holiday gatherings—with our own child. They would have cousins to play with, aunts and uncles to learn from, and grandparents to spoil them.

We believe that any child who joins our family will be enveloped in a lifetime of love, laughter, and unwavering support from a large, caring network. We are excited about the prospect of sharing our lives, our traditions, and our adventures with them, and we promise they will always be surrounded by friends and family who adore them.

We create memories through adventures, traveling, exploring new places, and revisiting old favorites. One of our favorite traditions is our annual trip to the mountains. Depending on the season, we spend our days hiking to waterfalls, gem mining, searching for salamanders, snow tubing down hills, and, of course, building snowmen with our nieces and nephews. Seeing their faces light up with joy is something we treasure, and we can only imagine the delight of sharing those moments with our own child.

The Florida Keys hold an incredibly special place in our hearts. Surrounded by turquoise waters, our journey as a couple began here. We got engaged during sunrise and, a year later, exchanged vows during sunset. The Keys continue to call to us with snorkeling, parasailing, jet skiing, and lobstering. Each visit reinforces our deep connection and remains one of our most treasured destinations.
