Kelli & Keyan

Keyan loves all things music—from playing instruments at home, to listening to records, to helping out with the high school band. He is also very creative and enjoys woodworking, having built everything from nightstands to shelves to display his music collection.

Kelli is passionate about preserving memories. Each year, she creates a photo book complete with journaling to capture moments she never wants to forget. She also has a deep love for animals and has recently taken up bird watching, finding joy in spotting and learning about different species.

Our home is a charming yellow-brick house in the country, sitting on 10 acres of land in a small Texas town. This is where Keyan was raised, so neighbors are more like extended family, and we know there is always someone looking out for us. We’re just a few miles from the library, schools, grocery store, pool, and park—close enough for convenience, but far enough to enjoy the peace of country living.

We share our home with our family-friendly dog, Sammy. Sammy is the sweetest dog—she doesn’t mind being hugged or tugged on and loves to play ball. She is a great companion and a beloved part of our family.

Keyan comes from a very large family—four sisters and five brothers—most of whom live within minutes or just a few hours of us. With such a big family comes many nieces and nephews—32 and counting! We love getting together often for family meals, sporting events, holidays, reunions, and the occasional game night.

Kelli has three sisters and one brother. While they don’t live nearby, we always feel their love and support when we’re able to gather for special events, and we cherish the times they come to visit.

We knew our families would love the babies who joined our family, but the amount of love and support we’ve received has been beyond anything we imagined. Our boys are adored, and everyone is always excited to welcome a new baby into the family!

We met while country swing dancing in college. Introduced by mutual friends, it didn’t take us long to connect in a true love-at-first-sight kind of way. From the start, we were our authentic selves—making each other laugh, talking up a storm, and feeling as though we had known each other our whole lives. We are truly best friends and share many of the same hobbies, like watching movies and going on family vacations.

It has been such a joy to grow and strengthen our relationship as we’ve become parents. Keyan is the fun dad—always ready to play and wrestle—but is just as quick to meet the boys’ needs. Kelli spends most days with the boys, loving the simple moments, whether at the park or playing at home. Being parents fills us with love and joy, and we couldn’t be more united in choosing adoption again to grow our family. We are a great team and love doing life side-by-side.
