Your child will be able to openly explore who they are and who they want to grow up to be, with support from us and our family. We want to take your child on trips, create traditions, and encourage them to form relationships with people who will support and protect them during this journey. About Us
Hello! We're Katlyn and Katie! We were friends before we were wives, and we love how it happened. We met at a job that we both previously had, and have not stopped talking since. Katlyn is now an outpatient therapist, and Katie is a case manager for older adults. We have a lot of passion, not only for our jobs, but for our hobbies and activities as well. We genuinely enjoy one another's company whether we're doing yard work, running errands, kayaking, or hanging out with friends and family. We love spending time doing outdoor activities and going to the beach whenever we can. We both have a great sense of humor and keep each other laughing daily. We love one another to the fullest, and balance each other out.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a three-bedroom, four-bathroom townhome in southern Pennsylvania. Our neighborhood is five minutes from a state park where we love to go kayaking and walking. We are fairly close to Hershey Park, the Baltimore Aquarium, and Washington D.C. We live in a good school district, and there are lots of kids in our neighborhood. We have two cats, Simon and Lily, who we adore. They love to spend time in the fenced backyard running around and chewing on grass.
Our Family & Friends
We love our family and friends, and most are within 1.5 hours of our home. Katlyn has three sisters, one who lives in Arizona and the other two who live closer. Katie has no siblings but has cousins who have started their own families. Our families are excited about the possibility of going on vacations and day trips with a future child. Katie's parents like to spend a lot of time at the beach, while Katlyn's parents go on many camping trips around the country. We live close to both sides of the family, and they are excited to have a future cousin, niece or nephew, or grandchild. We spend holidays with both sides of the family and have started some new traditions of our own.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have known that we wanted to adopt for a long time, ever since we each knew that we wanted children. With Katie being adopted herself, she has always wanted to adopt children of her own to show the same love and support that she was shown. We spend a lot of time talking about the possibilities and experiences we may be blessed with while growing our family. We knew instantly that this journey of adoption was right for us as we took the initial steps in wanting to grow our family.

Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
