Katelyn & Brandon
Are Hoping to Adopt a Baby
dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for taking the time to learn about us and for considering us as you make this incredibly difficult and personal decision. We are Brandon and Katelyn, and while we cannot fully understand everything you are experiencing, we recognize the strength, courage, and love it takes to explore adoption. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to introduce ourselves and share a little about who we are.
Our journey to adoption began with a desire to grow our family and share our love, support, and encouragement with a child. While our path to parenthood has not unfolded as we originally expected, it has led us to adoption, and we feel hopeful and excited about the future. Through this process, we have come to appreciate even more the many ways families are formed through love.
As we think about you and your baby, our hearts are filled with respect and gratitude. We know that every choice you make comes from a place of love for your child. If we are fortunate enough to become parents to your baby, we promise to provide a home filled with unconditional love, laughter, security, and opportunities to thrive. We will honor your child’s story and always remind them of the love that surrounded them from the very beginning.
Thank you for considering us. No matter where your journey leads, we wish you peace, strength, and support. We are truly honored that you would take the time to learn about our family.
With gratitude, Brandon and Katelyn

Our Family & Friends
Family and friends are among our greatest blessings. Brandon's mother, Deva, lives outside Nashville, Tennessee, and remains an important part of our lives. Brandon was also deeply influenced by his late father, Jamie, who chose to love and raise him as his own. Jamie's example taught Brandon that being a parent is defined by commitment, sacrifice, and unconditional love—not biology. Brandon's sister, her husband, and their three children also live near Nashville.
Katelyn's parents, Tim and Darlene, are retired and live in South Carolina. Adoption has long been part of their family's story, as Tim was adopted himself. Katelyn's sister and her family, including three adopted children, also live in Columbia, while her brother and his family live nearby. We treasure the time we spend with our nieces and nephews, who bring so much joy and laughter to our lives.
We are also blessed with close friends who feel like family. Our friends Rachelle and Justin have supported us throughout our adoption journey, and Rachelle is especially excited to welcome and love a new baby.
One of our favorite traditions is celebrating Christmas together by baking cookies, watching It's a Wonderful Life, and enjoying time with loved ones. We look forward to sharing these traditions—and creating many new memories—with our future child.
