First and foremost, we want to express our deepest gratitude for the brave and incredibly difficult decision you are facing. We know there are no words that can fully capture the strength, love, and courage it takes to consider adoption. We hope that, if chosen, we can always honor your story and make sure your child grows up knowing how deeply loved they were from the very beginning and how strong their birth mother truly is.
We are also so grateful that you are taking the time to review our profile. We understand this is likely one of the most important decisions you will ever make, and we do not take your consideration lightly.
Our journey to parenthood has not been easy. We have faced infertility, multiple rounds of IVF, unexpected complications, emergency surgeries, and heartbreaking disappointments along the way. Through all of it, beginning the adoption process was the first time we truly felt peace and certainty that we were exactly where we were meant to be. Adoption has felt right in a way no other path ever did.
If you choose us, your child will be loved beyond measure every single day. They will grow up in a safe, stable, and supportive home, always knowing they are cherished, valued, and deeply loved.
Our Love Story
We have a unique love story. We have known each other for over 20 years. Marc went to Michigan Technological University where he met his best friend, Kate’s brother. Every year, at Kate’s family cabin there is “deer camp” for hunting season. This is where we met in 2005. We remained friends, keeping in touch and crossing paths along the way.
In 2009, Kate left Michigan and went to college in Chicago, 45 minutes from where Marc grew up. Marc’s family became Kate’s “family away from family” while in school, leading to a closer connection with Marc. We started seeing each other and then, in 2012, we finally ripped the bandaid off and told our families… at deer camp.
Kate went to Law School in Milwaukee, WI where Marc lived by then, and our love grew even more. In 2015, we married in Milwaukee, Wisconsin surrounded by all of our family and friends. And to this date, Kate’s brother is still Marc’s best friend.

Our Family & Friends
We have a wonderful support system that includes family and friends who have become family. Both of our parents are still married (46 years!) and are extremely supportive of us and our journey. We each have one brother, with Kate’s brother being older and Marc’s is younger. Both siblings are married and collectively gave us 3 wonderful nieces.
Kate’s extended family is large with 7 cousins who grew up very close and remain so today. Marc has a larger family presence in Mississippi that we keep updated on life’s events. Marc has one cousin who is married with a daughter who lives 20 minutes away that we are close to.
Every Thanksgiving we travel to Detroit, Michigan to celebrate Thanksgiving with Kate's family, and each Christmas we host Marc’s family at our home in Wisconsin. We enjoy celebrating holidays surrounded by friends and family members. Outside of the holidays we enjoy traveling with our friends and family, while enjoying our shared hobbies
We know we have a dependable, loving community we can lean on any time, day or night.
Adoption in Our Lives
Adoption has touched our lives in 3 special ways. Firstly, Kate’s aunt got pregnant at 15 years old. She placed her child up for adoption and helped complete another family. After 18 years, we were able to meet Tony and his family. It was wonderful to see how happy and healthy he was.
Second, Kate’s cousin adopted a daughter from China. Kirsty is such a blessing to our family and we would not be complete without her. Lastly, our niece, Michelle. Michelle was not born into our family, but when Marc’s brother met his wife, Michelle’s mother, a gift was added to our life. Unfortunately, Michelle’s biological father passed away when she was very young. Since then, Marc’s brother immediately stepped up and is now Michelle’s dad.
