Jessie & Cameron

Our lifestyle is a mix of creativity, comfort, and exploring the things we love together. Cameron works as an engineer and enjoys spending his free time outdoors; hiking Colorado trails, fishing, and cooking new recipes for us to share. Jessie is an elementary special education teacher who gravitates toward quieter moments, often reading or playing with our dogs, Otis and Dexter, who keep our home full of energy and laughter.

We also have several hobbies that bring us closer as a couple. Kayaking has become one of our favorite ways to spend time outdoors together. We also love spending weekends thrifting or antiquing for unique finds. At home, we enjoy building LEGO sets, playing board games, and relaxing with a good movie. Attending musicals and plays is another shared joy, giving us a chance to experience something new together.

Family plays an important role in our lives, and we’re grateful to be surrounded by people who are loving, supportive, and deeply connected to us.

Cameron’s family is especially close. His parents and brother visit us often, and we make several trips each year to spend time with them as well. Cameron also has a cousin who feels more like a sister; she and her husband have five adopted children, and they are a joyful, meaningful part of our lives. Whenever we’re in our hometown, we make sure to spend as much time as possible with them and our nieces and nephews.

Jessie’s family lives out of state, but distance has never lessened their closeness. Her parents, sisters, and brother visit frequently, and Jessie travels home throughout the year to see them. During those visits, she always makes time for her grandma and uncle, who hold a special place in her heart. Jessie also has a chosen family; friends who have supported her throughout her life and remain an important part of her world. She is a devoted aunt and cherishes every moment she gets to spend with her nieces and nephews.

Jessie often travels to Washington to visit her sister and family, filling those trips with laughter, playtime, and the kind of cozy moments that linger long after she returns home. Cameron has traveled for work, including a memorable trip to Milan where quiet walks, good food, and the city’s history left a lasting impression. Together, we love planning trips that blend nostalgia and discovery.

Orlando holds some of our sweetest memories, wandering through Disney World and Universal Studios and feeling that familiar spark of wonder. We also visit Kansas often to reconnect with family, share traditions, and make new memories. Closer to home, we cherish slow days exploring museums, aquariums, and zoos—places where we can learn, breathe, and simply be together.
