Jahmi & Christopher
Are Hoping to Adopt a Baby
dear expectant mother
Hello there! We are Chris and Jahmi. From the bottom of our hearts, we want you to know that there are no words to express the gratitude we feel for you in considering us to provide a loving home for your baby. We find it vital to be loving, understanding, and supportive parents. Please rest assured that any child who comes into our home will be cherished as the blessing they are. We know this decision is not one you take lightly.
It is our vow to you that this precious gift you entrust to us will be nurtured, loved, safe, and supported throughout your pregnancy, birth, and for every breath we take together. Our home is filled with joy, laughter, love, and adventure. We are adventurous people who value education, exploration, and curiosity. Your child will travel, be encouraged to learn new things, and always be free to ask questions.
They will be nurtured not only by us but also by our supportive community of family and friends. Your child will have an entire village to love and protect them throughout their life. There will never be a lack of support or love from us. We pray you find peace in your decision, and we hope that by choosing us, we can help contribute to that peace.
Our Love Story
Chris and I first met on Stone Mountain when I was 18 years old. He was doing morning PT, running up the mountain with his best friend, while I was hiking it for the first time with mine. At one steep spot, I was on my hands and knees about ready to give up when Chris jogged over and encouraged me with, “You can do it!” I laughed and told him, “The only way I’m getting up this mountain is if you carry me.” He even tried to lift me before I playfully told him to get lost.
We crossed paths again at the halfway point as Chris started his second run. This time he stopped to talk, and I told him he should take me to breakfast. He took my number that day—and we’ve been together ever since.

Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in a rural area of Georgia, about an hour outside of Atlanta. Within walking distance from our home are the elementary school, public library, local park, and even the fire station, making our community both convenient and family-friendly.
Our house is a one-level, three-bedroom, two-bathroom home that we’ve made warm and welcoming. Out back, we have a fully fenced yard with a six-foot privacy fence, sitting on about ¾ of an acre. The yard is one of our favorite features, complete with apple, peach, lemon, and fig trees that we’ve planted and cared for over the years. It’s a peaceful, safe space with plenty of room for a child to play and grow.

Our Family & Friends
Chris is retired military, which has given us the gift of having family and friends all over the country—a wonderful support system from our years of moving around. We are especially close with Jahmi’s family in Ohio and Virginia, making several trips to Ohio each year to visit her grandmother and relatives, especially during the holidays.
In the summer, we often reconnect with friends in Texas and Arizona for smaller beach vacations, creating traditions and memories that keep us close. Jahmi’s mom, a Special Education teacher, lives just 40 minutes away, making it easy to see her often. Chris’ dad and younger brother also live nearby in Stone Mountain, Georgia, just 40 minutes from our home.

Our Favorite Adventures
We love to travel! Disneyland is our favorite destination, and we go often. We’re both big kids at heart, and spending carefree time in such a magical place fills us with joy and nostalgia. Another favorite is Mexico. When we lived in Arizona, we often drove there with friends, visiting the Sea of Cortez two to three times a month for weekend getaways.
Still, Chris and I agree that our greatest adventure has been growing together. Over the years, we’ve watched one another mature into caring, supportive, and grounded individuals. Every challenge and triumph has strengthened our bond, and we are excited to continue this journey by expanding our family. We can’t wait to see where the next adventure will lead us—with the love and laughter of a child by our side.
