Jacob & Becca

Hi! We’re Jacob and Rebecca, and our story began over 15 years ago when we met at Jacob’s senior prom. We spent years as best friends before getting engaged in 2016 and married in 2017, and we've loved every adventure together since.

We moved to FL in 2018, which wasn't easy at first, but it brought us closer together as a couple and gave us a wonderful community that now feels like family. Jacob works as a civilian for the Navy, Becca is a preschool teacher, and together we serve as volunteer Generations Pastors at our church, investing in kids and families.

At home, Becca is a proud plant mom and amateur gardener, while Jacob loves cooking and baking (and Becca happily volunteers as the taste tester!). Our three goofy dogs and three lazy cats keep life full of laughter and lots of snuggles. We're incredibly grateful you're taking the time to get to know us. More than anything, we've built a home filled with faith, joy, and unconditional love, and we can't wait to share that love with a child.

Family is incredibly important to us, and we feel so blessed by the people God has placed around us. Becca is very close with her Mom, Dad, Stepmom, and two younger Brothers. Jacob’s older brother and his family, and their dad live nearby, and his mom and stepdad visit almost every month. We love traveling to see our extended families, especially with Jacob having 10 cousins!

Since moving several years ago, our church family and friends have become like family, too. Every Sunday, we have an “Ice Cream Sunday” tradition where anyone who wants to join us meets at a local ice cream spot to enjoy ice cream and time together.

We especially love bringing everyone together for Thanksgiving. Many of our loved ones moved to Orlando away from their families, so we put a huge table in the middle of our home, everyone brings food, and anyone without family nearby is invited. Kids, grown-ups, and even animals fill the house, making it one of our favorite days of the year! We love having a home and a life where people feel welcome.

Our family traditions continue through every generation. Jacob’s family makes a different homemade pie together for every celebratory dinner, and even the youngest kiddos join in. Our niece has been helping since she was about one! Since Becca’s dad’s birthday is right before Christmas, we pile into the car each year to see drive-through Christmas lights. We have an amazing community and we love spending time with as many of them as often as we can.
