Our Family & Friends
We both come from warm, loving families, where being the youngest has its own charm. Rana has a sister just two years her senior and a host of cousins. Growing up, weekends were filled with family gatherings, where all the cousins played and grew up together, creating a bond that still holds strong despite the distances some of us now navigate due to immigration.
Houman shares a similar background, being the youngest with siblings who are quite a bit older. His move to the U.S. was more of a homecoming, reuniting him with his brother and sister, who had moved earlier. This transition not only brought him closer geographically but also deepened our familial connections in this new setting.
Our extended families are integral to our lives. We keep the traditions alive and are always weaving new memories, whether through frequent visits or holiday celebrations. As we think about adding a child to our family, we’re excited to introduce them to these traditions and the loving, supportive network that has shaped us.
