dear expectant mother
We want to begin by expressing our deep respect for the brave and considerate decision you are making. We can only imagine how complex and emotional this journey is for you. Our dream of becoming parents has brought us to this hopeful and reflective moment. We are committed to providing a loving, supportive, and nurturing home. Our lives are filled with laughter, kindness, and a strong sense of family. We believe in creating an environment where curiosity is celebrated and love is the foundation of every day.
Your baby will always be cherished and secure with us. We envision a future where they know of your incredible love and the strength behind your decision. They will grow up understanding how much they were wanted and loved from the very start. We are deeply grateful for the opportunity to be considered as adoptive parents and are hopeful that our paths will align. Please know you are in our prayers regardless of the path you choose, and we are here with open hearts, ready to support you in any way we can.
Thank you for considering us. We wish you peace and comfort on this journey.
About Us
We are both hardworking, educated adults who turn into huge children when we come home from work. James is a professional engineer designing air filtration and ventilation systems. It has ruined heist movies for both of us. Erin teaches fifth grade and deeply values access to education. James plays multiple instruments and is looking forward to teaching our future children how to play the guitar. Erin loves to make costumes/cosplays and is looking forward to passing down the family tradition of sewing. We both make ways to find enjoyment in whatever we are doing. We do silly things like gamify chores and build bed sheet forts when the power goes out. We aren’t perfect by any stretch of the imagination, but we work hard to better ourselves and maintain a happy and healthy family.
Our Home & Pets
We live in urban Ohio. We own our house, which has a finished basement where James can record music as loud as he wants. Rural Ohio is only a short drive outside of the city, so we get to camp, hike, and unplug often. With Erin being a teacher, we get free access to all types of regional museums and activities. That also means we have great access to education for our future children. We also have a tradition of dressing up for the local Renaissance festival as well as other conventions. We have two cats, Sylvia and Estelle. Estelle is totally blind, but that doesn’t slow her down. She can still beat Sylvia in a race when they hear the can opener.
Our Extended Family
Our family is awesome. The entire extended family is spread across the United States as well as Colombia, where James holds dual citizenship. James has two younger brothers and countless cousins. Everyone on this side makes a point to come together annually for a massive beach vacation and family reunion. We are always so encouraged by the family’s willingness to travel and make time to be together even though we are so spread out.
Erin has one older sister who is married. They have a seven-year-old daughter. We love being the favorite aunt and uncle. Okay, the only aunt and uncle. We usually travel out of state to spend Thanksgiving with this side of the family, including four cousins who also share the family love of sewing and costuming. Both of our parents are thrilled to hear our updates about this process and the prospect of a new grandchild.
What Led Us To Adoption
We have taken the time to reflect on our options, and adoption is our first choice. The opportunity to adopt fills us with immense excitement and hope. It simply feels right for us. We believe being a good parent isn’t confined to genetics or biology but is defined by selfless love, commitment, and nurturing. The thought of welcoming a child into our family, taking care of them, and watching them grow is truly thrilling. We’re eager to share our love, create lasting memories, and offer support as they blossom into their own person. Adoption is how we will grow our family in a meaningful way, and we are excited to embark on this journey.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
