dear expectant mother
We can't put into words how difficult this decision must be for you. There is no way that we can know what you are going through. We know that you must be experiencing a range of emotions, all valid and understandable. Making this decision requires love, strength, and bravery, which you should be admired for.
Should you choose us, we promise to raise the baby in a loving household surrounded by close family and friends. Whether grilling s'mores over a campfire or visiting various national parks, he or she will be imprinted with a sense of wonder and adventure in the world around them. Christian faith will be a cornerstone of their values, with the importance of helping others instilled from an early age. Education is very important to the both of us, and as such we promise to promote and support a questioning attitude as they grow up.
We wish you the best with making your decision and hope that it truly brings you peace. Should you choose us, we would be honored and forever grateful. It will be our life's mission to ensure that you are confident and proud of your decision to choose us as parents for your child.
About Us
Greetings! Thank you for taking the time to read our profile! We began our story in 2016 after a coffee house date. Fast forward to today, and we have been married for six years, with hopefully many more to come. We are an easy-going couple that enjoys spending time in and around our community. Emily is a pre-employment background check specialist with a passion for keeping the workplace safe. Eric is a process improvement engineer working in healthcare with a passion for improving the health of our community. Both of us currently work from home, which affords us unique opportunities to continue to grow as a couple. We love the little things in life, such as going to the local farmers' market, trying a new recipe, or hosting friends for a dinner party. Traveling is a big part of our life, both abroad and within the United States. We love visiting National Parks and going on adventures. We are a religious couple who actively participate in church activities and view faith as a cornerstone of our relationship.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a three-bedroom split-level home in a college town in coastal southeast Virginia. We love spending time in our backyard, whether it be gardening or cooking s'mores over our fire pit. We have a dog named Lula who we rescued from a local animal shelter and she is very much a part of our family. Our neighborhood is safe, tight-knit, and family-oriented. Children can safely walk to school and play with their friends without worry. The surrounding areas include many enriching activities, such as museums, amusement parks, and historic sites. There are also several beaches and parks close by to enjoy outdoor activities.
Our Extended Family
We grew up in loving and close families, which have had a tremendous impact on our upbringing. Both of our families live close by, which affords us the opportunity to continue our strong relationships.
Eric grew up in Pennsylvania before relocating to Virginia. He is an only child but views his cousins as his siblings. Some of his most enduring memories are those with his grandparents. As they got older, Eric's grandparents moved into the same home, which furthered their strong bond. Looking back, it was the simple traditions that made the largest impact, whether it was watching Penn State or Eagles football games on the weekend, having regular family dinners, or celebrating various holidays.
Emily was raised close to where we currently reside. She has an older sister with whom she still maintains a strong bond. Emily's grandparents also had a huge impact on her upbringing. One of Emily's favorite memories is celebrating her grandfather's birthday on Christmas Eve.
These are just a few of the traditions, memories, and strong family bonds that have made us into who we are today.
What Led Us To Adoption
Ever since we first met, both of us knew that we wanted to eventually start a family. Through life circumstances, adoption has presented itself as the best way to begin. Emily has witnessed firsthand the joys of adoption through her cousin Hope, who was adopted as a toddler from China. Emily views her cousin more as a little sister, and we are all blessed having her in our family. We both marvel at the love that her cousin and Emily's aunt and uncle have brought to each other, and strive to create something similar.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
