Emily & Kenyata
Are Hoping to Adopt a Baby
dear expectant mother
Since Emily was a teenager, she knew there was a chance that she would be unable to conceive a child. When we became sure that our relationship would lead to marriage, we had many conversations about what it would look like to grow our family. The journey through infertility has been tough, but we are both people of faith, and we knew that God had a plan for our family. We were both given a desire to raise a family, and we will never be able to find the words to express what a selfless and beautiful gift you are providing by choosing adoption.
Our hope is that we will raise your child to know that they are loved, valued, important, and seen. We are committed to providing a stable, nurturing, and supportive home in which this child will feel as adored as they truly are. We are so grateful that you would consider choosing us as your child’s adoptive parents, and look forward to growing our family through this precious miracle. We know that this decision has been difficult, and our promise to you, should you choose to allow us the gift of adopting your child, is to spend every day with hearts of gratitude for the immeasurable joy your decision has provided. Your selflessness is the thing that made our dreams possible, and we will be forever grateful.

Our Family & Friends
We are both incredibly close with Emily’s parents- Mike and Barbie. So close, in fact, that we moved next door! They are already fantastic grandparents to our five-year-old niece, Lyla. They were born to be “Memaw” and “Papa” and would probably rather spend time with their grandbabies than us! Emily also has a younger brother Garrett (married to Jordan, they are Lyla’s parents.), and a younger sister Erin (married to Chris). Kenyata’s mom, Peggy, raised Kenyata as a single mom. She is anxiously awaiting the arrival of her first grandchild. Peggy and Kenyata spent much of Kenyata’s childhood traveling the world thanks to Peggy’s military career. Kenyata was the youngest of his many cousins, so they feel as though they raised him, and are excited to meet the newest addition to our family. Most of them have young children, leaving no shortage of playmates for your little one!
Our chosen family includes close friends who support us, challenge us, and encourage us to be better daily. We are so fortunate to have these people in our lives and cannot wait to share them with your child- who is already so loved by them all.

What We Love About Each Other
Emily loves that Kenyata is steady and even-tempered. He does not often get stressed out, and is usually the first one to remind her that everything will always be okay. She loves that he is funny and doesn’t take himself too seriously, but that he can also be a safe shoulder to lean on when needed.
Kenyata loves that Emily is kind. She is a natural caregiver and is optimistic. She sees the bright side of most situations, and always reminds him that there is good in every situation. Emily approaches life with a positive disposition and desires that everyone in her path be happy and loved. She is the first to offer a smile, a hand, or an encouraging word.
