dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We really appreciate you taking the time to look through our family profile. We have no idea what it is like to be in your shoes and to go through what you are going through with so many emotions happening with your decision. You are a very brave person making this very difficult decision, and we cannot imagine what this must feel like. We are so very thankful to be possibly considered as adoptive parents for your child.

Should you choose us as your child’s family, please know we will make sure to always have a safe, nurturing, and loving home for your child. We look forward to making new memories, taking them on many adventures outdoors, cooking, and gardening. Your child will be supported and encouraged by us and our many loving family members.

We hope you see the love in our family. We hope we can share it with your child, if you decide to choose our family.

About Us

We are James and Elizabeth. James is from Michigan and Elizabeth is from Illinois, and we now live in the state of Indiana. We met in 2017 while volunteering for a summer camp for children diagnosed with or who have survived cancer. A few years later, in 2021, we were engaged and got married in Elizabeth’s best friend's backyard! James is a goofy and fun individual and loves football. Elizabeth is a very giving and caring person and is a wonderful cook. We both work from home and appreciate the flexibility that comes with it. Elizabeth is a child development professor, and James is a software engineer. We both love to travel and be outdoors and cannot wait to make new memories with our future children.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a ranch-style home that was newly renovated in 2021. Our home has four bedrooms and a finished basement, with a back porch that looks out to a beautiful forest. Our playful puppy, Bella, loves to run around and explore the fenced-in backyard. We live in a quiet neighborhood with great neighbors and an elementary school just a few doors down from our home. Our town loves to engage the community by hosting many family-friendly activities year-round within walking distance from our home.

Our Extended Family

Elizabeth has a very loud and social family. Her family includes her mother, stepfather, father, twin brother, sister, stepbrother, and stepsister, who mostly reside within 30-40 minutes from her home. Most of her family gatherings and holidays revolve around food and playing games together. Elizabeth’s sister, brother-in-law, and one-year-old niece all live outside of Illinois, and we love to spend all the time we can with them when they are in town.

We both have very involved and supportive families, and living in Indiana means we are able to see both sides of our families as often as we like.

We love to travel to see James’s family in Michigan every few weeks to spend time together. His family includes his mother, father, and younger sister. Every year at Christmastime, we all look forward to having our holiday meal and opening gifts together. In the summer months, we like to spend time at James’s parents’ in-ground pool and at our family friends’ lake house, where we play games, watch fireworks, and ride around the lake in the pontoon.

What Led Us To Adoption

We are so very excited to start this next chapter of our lives and knew adoption would be the way to make this dream of becoming parents possible. Elizabeth is a childhood cancer survivor, which led her to not being able to have children naturally. We have supported children and their families for countless years. We want nothing more than to have children of our own to love. We always knew we wanted to have a family together one day to provide a loving, safe, and happy home for a child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
