dear expectant mother
First, we want to thank you, truly, for taking the time to look at our profile. We can only imagine the strength and courage it takes to be in your shoes right now. We can clearly see the love you have for your child from considering adoption, which is nothing short of inspiring. We don't know your story, but we hold deep respect for you and the path you're walking. Your decision, ultimately, comes from a place of love and hope for your baby's future.
If we have the honor of being chosen as adoptive parents, we promise to love your child unconditionally and raise them in a home full of laughter, warmth, and support. We will encourage their dreams, celebrate their milestones, and be there through every high and low. They will always know where they came from, and how deeply they were loved from the very beginning—by you, by us, and by all those who are involved.
It's not easy to open your heart to the unknown, but we do so with hope and gratitude—for you, for your baby, and for the chance to build a beautiful connection that begins with trust.
About Us
Hello! We are Corby and Deidra. Our history began when we met in June of 2021. We got engaged in August of 2022 in the mountains out in Colorado, and we got married in the fall of 2023 with all of our closest friends and family! We currently live in our home in a small town in Northwest Missouri. Our tight-knit community is a huge part of our lives as we take pride in close relationships with those around us– family included. Corby is hardworking, reliable, and very generous, working as a construction foreman for a local company. Deidra is compassionate, faithful, and has a love for traveling, while working as a high school math teacher at the school in our current community. Together, we create a life filled with kindness, adventure, and the quiet joy of building something lasting.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We live in Deidra's hometown close to both sides of the family—a small, rural town where everybody knows and loves everybody and has easy access to major cities. We live in a 3-bed, 2-bath split-level home in a quiet part of town with kids of all ages around the block! We have three dogs—Barry, Morgan, and Mocha, who love to play outside and go on walks around town. Our local community recently raised money to rebuild our city park to be inclusive for all abilities and ages with a state-of-the-art splash pad! Our local school district thrives on community involvement and building relationships.
Our Family & Friends
We are both incredibly close to our families. We take pride in our names chosen by our nieces and nephews—Uncle Coco and Aunt Geiga. Deidra's family is loud and full of fun, organized chaos with all 20 family members that includes 11 nieces and nephews. The family thrives on spending holidays and traveling the world together! Corby's family is more relaxed and enjoys spending quality time throughout the month, hanging out outside, cooking dinners together, and supporting his two nieces and one nephew at their sporting and extracurricular events. Our favorite traditions include holidays with both sides and spending as much time as we can with them. Our families mean more than the world to us! We have added some new family members from across the ocean from hosting foreign exchange students. The girls we have hosted have provided us with such great experiences and relationships that we will hold near and dear to our hearts forever.
What Led Us To Adoption
Becoming parents has always been a dream since the beginning of our story. Though infertility and a medical diagnosis made having biological children impossible, we realized that dream was never about genetics–it was about becoming parents. We are ecstatic to pursue adoption and strive to provide a loving and caring environment. The opportunity to adopt fills our hearts with joy and leaves us feeling grateful. We want to be present for our children in every way. We look forward to sharing laughter, bedtime stories, and family traditions. This journey has strengthened our bond and deepened our empathy so fast already that it makes us so excited to continue down the path of adoption!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
