Dear Expecting Mother,
Thank you for the opportunity to provide you with a profile of ourselves, and a picture of our life. We understand how difficult your decision can be, especially when you are considering the absolute best opportunity for your baby. Our goal is to exceed your expectations by providing a loving, nurturing, and healthy home, where your child will learn, grow, and experience all the opportunities that can make them successful in life.
We have been lovingly married for over 7 years and live in Wisconsin, in a family-oriented community. Culturally we differ, Sophie being born in China, now, a citizen here in the USA; I am an American. Always believing the importance of children in our life, we bought a home in a very family-oriented neighborhood, surrounded by great schools and playgrounds.

Our Hobbies & Passions
Our Home & Neighborhood
Our home is in Wisconsin in a beautiful town that has major children’s parks and beaches just blocks from our home. Also, there are several denominations of churches and outstanding schools close. Excellent opportunities exist to explore our fantastic environment, including destination sites like the many lighthouses, state wilderness parks and campgrounds, and petting farms, etc.
We have a very family-oriented neighborhood, with neighbors who either have had families and are grandparents now, or families with several children. We are eager potential adoptive parents, already having strollers, car seats, and TOYS! Our goal as adoptive parents is to provide the best educational and growth opportunities for the child to excel, throughout their life! Yes, our hearts are in this 100%!
Our Family & Friends
We are surrounded by very loving parents, extended family members and friends. Sophie’s parents (both scientists) live close, and we visit frequently. Her extended family members live throughout the United States. My extended family lives primarily in a 3 state area, with my parents (both retired) living 2 miles from us. They provide the gathering place for most holidays, and special events. Friends living close often use us or my parents as babysitters.
Our closest families and friends are currently in the process of having babies or already have children, and are frequent visitors for holidays, game nights, camping or simply to just “hangout”. We all support each other in providing opportunities for the kids to get together! Our parents are our strongest supporters!
Our Cultural Heritage
Our family dynamic is a marriage of both Asian and European American cultures. As you can tell, cultures across ethnic boundaries are very similar, when it comes to their KIDS!
Sophie is a fun loving person, who enjoys many of the Chinese holidays, their food, and their traditional dress. David has always enjoyed the camaraderie of his extended family, the foods of his more European heritage, and camping across the USA.
We enjoy both cultures which have provided new perspectives to life here and throughout the world. We both believe that God needs to be in our lives, and that our life’s values come from respect for others, the cultures we interact with every day, and the treatment of those we interact with every day.
