We would like to share our gratitude for you even considering us when there are so many amazing options. We understand how much of an impact having to make this incredibly difficult choice has had on you. We promise to provide a loving, welcoming, and accepting home for your child, and are excited for the opportunity to raise your child as if they are our own. We look forward to learning about any cultures and traditions that may come along with your child, and will jump at the opportunity to make them feel welcome in every way, shape, and form including celebrating their unique identity and background. The journey to become parents is not one we've taken lightly, and is a desire we've both had since childhood. It truly would be a dream come true for you to choose us to nurture and raise your child. Our home and our hearts are ready to invite your child into our lives and home. We've been planning and preparing to welcome a child for what feels like an eternity, and we are envisioning a bright future as a family. We are ready to support your child emotionally, academically, and financially to allow them to grow into the person that they are meant to be.

Our Hobbies & Passions

We have always been transfixed with everything spooky and scary. We have both worked in the field of haunted house acting for a combined two decades. We have always believed that fear can be embraced and seen in many different lights. Due to this we have dedicated many years to honing our skills to make this passion a reality. Come every October you will find us building a massive yard display that is always a big hit with the neighborhood children, and we delight in having the whole neighborhood enjoy, as well working in haunted house attractions. However, scary isn't the only passion we have. We love entertaining in all ways. Whether it be doing theater shows, having an equally as large Christmas display, or simply hosting friends and family for large and small gatherings throughout the year.

Our Home & Neighborhood

We live in a nice, quiet, family neighborhood that is close to several hiking trails, boating docks, parks, restaurants, and sledding hills. The local grade school and junior high are less than a mile away and part of one of the top school districts in the state. There is also a beach nearby for summer swimming.

Our home is a two-story home that has three large bedrooms with a large front and back yard with plenty of room to play. We have a full finished basement that is set to be a family fun center. We have three friendly cats, who love snuggling and would enjoy a small human playmate. We have a small garden that we will use to teach our child how to grow and tend various flowers and vegetables.

Our Family & Friends

Corey has a biological mother and stepfather that live nearby. They host monthly family get-togethers and welcome family into their home any time; even if dropping by unannounced. They are wonderful grandparents to Corey's four nephews and one niece. Corey's brother and sister are both near and would drop anything to help the family.

Janice has one uncle who lives in Tennessee, who is merely a phone call away and has been a massive support system for her throughout her life. They enjoy spending time together during the holidays and connect weekly through phone calls. Janice's parents adopted her as a baby and showed her the true meaning of love and the importance of adoption. Janice's mom passed away in 2020 and her dad in 2025, but their lasting impact on her life will continue to live on through her.

We both value strong friendships and consider our friends as chosen family. Our closest tight-knit friends have been with them since the dawn of our relationship. We enjoy spending as much quality time as possible with them as if they are family. All friends will be honorary aunts and uncles to any child. We look forward to introducing your child to all of their friends and family.

Adoption in Our Lives

Janice has personal experience as a child adopted at birth. Her adoption was closed and based on this experience she knows the importance and impact having access to that information could be for the child. As a couple who were married at a later age, we were aware of the potential for struggles at natural pregnancy. We went through 3 IUI procedures and 2 egg retrievals but with zero luck at anything taking. We both knew and have hopes that adoption could be the wonderful miracle that could bring a child into our lives.
