We know this is one of the hardest decisions you will ever make, and we admire your strength as you figure out what’s best for you and your child. Our home is full of laughter and joy, and we promise to give your baby all the love and opportunities we can. This child will have devoted parents, a caring big brother, and a supportive and involved family. They will be welcomed into a community of caring friends and neighbors who will help guide, protect, and nurture them.
We are a family that values acceptance, kindness, and lifelong learning. We believe in the importance of education, access to the arts, and giving back to our community. We encourage our children to be themselves and follow their dreams. We are eager to complete our family and discover the unique and wonderful individual this child will become. We have found beautiful fulfillment in being parents and are excited to experience the joy of watching our future child grow, learn, and thrive.
We understand there are challenging emotions ahead for all of us on this journey, and we will respect the type of adoption relationship you wish to pursue. Our Family & Friends
Kevin’s parents live three hours away, so we see them frequently. They visit for holidays and birthdays, help with home projects, and babysit. We are also close with Kevin’s brothers and their families, who live in California. We enjoy occasional shared vacations and frequent video calls.
Caitlin’s parents each live across the country in different states, but we talk often and have occasional video calls. Caitlin is also close with her sister and half-sister and stays in touch with aunts, uncles, and cousins. Everyone loves when we have the opportunity to visit.
We are very close with several friends whom we lovingly refer to as “Aunts” and Uncles” to our son. We truly believe you don’t need to be related by blood to be considered family. Neighbors and friends are an important part of our holiday gatherings, family events, and casual get-togethers.
