dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Thank you for considering adoption and for the strength it takes to explore this path. We can’t pretend to know exactly what you’re feeling, but we recognize the love, courage, and care it takes to make such a decision.
If chosen, your child will be raised in a home where they are safe, supported, and deeply loved. They will be encouraged to ask questions, be curious, and grow into whoever they are meant to be. They will be guided with patience, taught the value of kindness, and reminded every day that they are enough—just as they are.
Their days will be full of small, meaningful moments: stories before bed, hands-on projects, laughter with family, and quiet time to reflect and imagine. They will grow up surrounded by people who believe in them, celebrate their milestones, and stand by them through life’s challenges.
We are ready to provide a stable, nurturing environment, and a strong support system of family and friends who are already eager to love this child. We are also open to an ongoing relationship with you, if you’re comfortable with that—whether through photos, updates, or deeper connection over time.
Please know that your love and bravery will always be honored in this child’s story. Whatever you decide, we’re holding space in our hearts for you.
With respect and gratitude,
Brandon & Katie
About Us
We met in 2009 after a breakfast with our moms, who were best friends. A simple conversation that morning led to a first date at a local coffee shop—and we’ve been together ever since.
Our relationship is built on mutual respect, shared values, and lots of laughter. Brandon works in robotics and loves solving problems. Katie works in healthcare, supporting patients and their families. We both have weekday schedules, so evenings and weekends are for time together—and soon, with a child.
Katie enjoys crafting and makes thoughtful handmade gifts. Brandon is into woodworking and 3D printing, often working on a project in the garage. We both love learning—especially about space and science—and end most days with a walk or a favorite show.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a spacious two-story home in Northeast Washington. Our home has an open-concept layout with lots of natural light and plenty of room to play. Our neighborhood is kind, supportive, and welcoming, hosting an annual cookout to greet new homeowners and catch up with neighbors. Our city offers numerous family-friendly activities year-round, along with trails and venues to explore. The public library is just a few minutes down the road. Our three cats, who keep us on our toes, are cherished members of our family.
Our Extended Family
We come from large, close-knit extended families filled with siblings and cousins. Katie has full, half, and step-siblings, while Brandon has two siblings. Our families are a constant source of support and joy, and we cherish spending time with them. We’re both very close to our in-laws, and our immediate families gather for every major holiday, often enjoying games and activities together. While Brandon’s extended family is mostly in Idaho, we stay connected through social media and text. Both of our parents and several siblings live in another part of the state, but we’re not far and make it a priority to visit at least once a month. We also make sure to celebrate birthdays, graduations, and other important milestones with our families, ensuring that we’re present for the big moments.
What Led Us To Adoption
We began our journey to start a family in 2016. After a year of trying, we pursued several fertility treatments in hopes of making our dream a reality. During that time, we had many heartfelt and challenging conversations about other paths to parenthood. The challenges we faced brought us even closer and strengthened our relationship. Katie’s stepdad, who has been a loving father figure in her life, showed us firsthand that love isn’t defined by biology. His unconditional love has inspired us and affirmed that family is built through love, not just genetics.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
