Thank you for taking the time to read our profile and learn more about our happy, loving family. We understand that this is a very hard decision to make. Our home is full of joy and love and we promise to give your baby all the love in the world. This child will have an amazing big sister who is so excited to take care of her “little baby.” We have a great (and local) extended support system of family and friends who are excited to spoil the next little one to come into our lives and hearts.
Our promise to you is that your child will grow up in a house where they will be loved and cherished. They will have a life full of adventures with their big sister and their many cousins. We value learning, playing outside and lots of bedtime stories. The thought of growing our family through adoption fills us with joy and gratitude.

Our Family & Friends
Family is a huge part of our lives. Jens' family lives within 45 minutes of us and we see them often. Jens’ family enjoys weekly get-togethers, often including members of the extended family. Darcy gets to see her 6 cousins all the time and being so close in age, it's very important to us that they continue to grow up together.
Ashlie’s parents live on 3 forested acres, about an hour away. We go to their house often for adventures, sleepovers and spend time on the beach near the house. Ashlie’s two younger brothers live out of the state but love to see Darcy when they are in town. Ashlie's parents will always host family get-togethers when any member of the extended family is in town so that we share time together.
We are so lucky to have amazing friends who live close by. We see our friends on a weekly basis and they are excited to love/ spoil our future baby just as much as they have Darcy.
Adoption in Our Lives
Ashlie and her two younger brothers were adopted. Ashlie was adopted at the age of 6, while her brother was adopted at birth. Ashlie’s family knows the joys of growing a family through adoption and will be a great support system during this time. Ashlie’s youngest brother was adopted through open adoption and Ashlie has a close relationship with her youngest brother’s birth mom. She had given us lots of advice as we are in the process ourselves.
Jens’ father was adopted and reconnected with his birth family once he was an adult. Both families have experience with adoption and are excited to support us during our journey.
