Andrew & Brandon

Our first date was on February 13th, the day before Valentine's Day. We both thought it went so well that we were afraid to jinx things by having our second date on Valentine’s Day itself, so we had our second date on the 15th, and pretty soon we were seeing each other every day.

Shortly into our relationship, an ice storm hit Philly and we were snowed in together for three days. We survived on Hot Pockets, frozen pizzas, and whatever we could scrounge up—but after those three days, we both knew: If we could survive that much time together (in those conditions!) this early in our relationship, we could survive anything.

We found love in the quiet moments spent together: grocery shopping, cooking, running errands, or just sitting around watching TV or an old movie. These little moments together were as full of joy as our bigger adventures, and realizing that is part of how we knew we were meant to be. We’ve been happily married since May of 2021!

Our home is spacious and cozy on a peaceful, tree-lined road in a beautiful suburb with a big front yard and backyard with a fenced-in pool, perfect for summertime adventures for a child and their friends as they grow. Family photos and Andrew's dad's art cover the walls, and we can’t wait to add our future child’s pictures and drawings to the walls as well.

We are eager to explore our local family-owned shops and restaurants with your child grabbing lunch and then stopping for ice cream cones (ESPECIALLY ice cream cones!).

Your child will grow up with two friendly and affectionate golden retrievers, Oliver and Toby, who will be your child’s immediate best friends. They love everyone they meet.

We feel incredibly blessed to be very close with our families. They play a big role in our lives and are a support system we rely on completely. They’re eager to welcome your child into our circle of love and support.

Andrew's parents and sister and family live a few minutes away. Brandon's parents and sisters live out of state, and we all travel frequently to see each other often. Christmas is our favorite holiday. In Andrew’s family, Christmas Eve is the focus: with lots of food, presents for the children, and a yearly rewatch of It’s a Wonderful Life and Elf. We travel to see Brandon’s family, and the day is filled with Brandon’s mom’s cooking, lots of games, and a yearly Secret Santa tradition going back decades.

We have friendships with best friends who are more like family, and many we have known for over twenty years. Our relationships have broadened and deepened as many now have children of their own. With them we enjoy tailgating at baseball games, going to hockey games, getting together for board game nights or dinner, or having them and their kids over for a barbecue or pool party.

The things we love about each other will also make us great parents.

Brandon is thoughtful, patient and deeply caring. He’s calm and always shows up for the people he loves. Outside of work, he likes to find balance relaxing with a good book, playing with the dogs, or his newest hobby, knitting!

Andrew is loving, family-oriented, and always excited to try something new and share it with others. He works from home giving him flexibility and time to be present with a child. He loves exercising, reading, gaming with friends, and walking the dogs.

We love trying new restaurants, going to the movies, exploring the trails in the park near us, or just relaxing together. We’re excited to include a child in our adventures!
