dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We want to start by saying we don’t have adequate words for the brave and selfless choice you are making for your child. We see how much you care just by considering this path. This journey may not be easy, but we promise to be there for you in whatever way you need as we navigate this new chapter in our lives.
We are humbled you are even viewing our profile. As a family already touched by adoption, we feel uniquely equipped in the way we would be able to raise them, loving them and teaching them about their journey to our home. We also vow to honor you as we tell them their adoption story.
We live in a safe, family-friendly community with a lot of opportunities for a child to become the best version of themselves. Our family and friends are already excited to welcome our child and shower them with love and affection. Our daughter, Olivia, is already excited to become a big sister and has been taking her role seriously when choosing books and toys and wondering how to best help out.
Thank you for considering us for this life-changing opportunity to love and raise your child.
About Us
We met during the first college campus church service of the semester Amber’s Junior year. We dated for four years before we got engaged and married at the same church we met at. We are still avid churchgoers in our new community and very involved. Tim is part of the music crew, and you will see him singing and either playing guitar or piano almost every Sunday. Amber has been getting to know the other women and families who attend, and Olivia is in LOVE with Sunday school. During the work week, Tim is a mental health counselor, and Amber works remotely as a mortgage processor. On weekends, we both love the outdoors, and you will find us either hiking, fishing, or just enjoying the outdoors with family or friends.
Our Home & Pets
We currently live in a charming 1950s home in Wisconsin. The property has a large yard for children to play in, and last year we added an outdoor swing set and fort that Olivia is obsessed with and we play with all year round, even in the winter! We live two blocks from our elementary school and less than a mile from our daycare of choice. We have one cat, a gecko, a small snake, and a large fish tank. Our surrounding neighborhood has two larger parks, including a community pool, and a few wildlife preserves and nature trails we frequent year-round. We even have a small amusement park within a half hour of our home we can go to for a fun summer activity and make at least a few trips a year.
Our Extended Family
Family is one of the most important things to us. We both grew up in large extended families. Both of our sets of parents live within an hour of us, making it easy to visit often (which we do!). Olivia loves spending time with Tim’s mom (Grandma) and Amber’s parents (Grammy and Bumpa). We both have two siblings, each with their own children, 11 all together, who are also mostly nearby, which means many weekends enjoying family time.
Holidays with our families are our favorite traditions! Every year we spend Christmas with one side of the family and Christmas Eve with the other. We take turns with Thanksgiving, Easter, and many other holidays. Our favorite thing to do is cook with our siblings and listen to the children play while we work.
We also have a wonderful chosen family. We have a group of friends we’ve known and loved since college. All of us have children now, and even with all the chaos of parenting, we make it a point to get together at least once a year, planning hikes, cabin trips, or just day trips to the park.
What Led Us To Adoption
Even when we were dating 15 years ago, we had adoption in our hearts for the future. Tim was adopted as an infant from South Korea and was brought to a loving family in Wisconsin. After taking years to be able to conceive our daughter, Olivia, we knew we wanted to go a different route this time in adding a member of our family. Choosing to adopt was the most natural choice. Tim is grateful to his birth mother for the choice she made and the chance she gave him to grow up in a loving family, and we are hoping for the chance to be that family for someone.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
