dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
Hi there! Thank you for taking the time to get to know us better. We cannot imagine the difficult decision you are facing right now, but we want you to know that you will make the best decision for your baby. Even though we have been struggling with infertility the last 6 years, if you do choose us, we will have our prayers answered to have a child of our own. We cannot promise to be perfect parents, but we can promise to raise your baby with compassion, love and care.
If we are lucky to be chosen, we promise to provide a home full of love, warmth and laughter. We will provide a safe environment, where your child will be welcome to ask any questions, learn new things and always be encouraged to be themselves.
We love to go swimming, camping, walking and playing badminton. We are very much looking forward to passing our love of the outdoors down to a little one of our own.
Sincerely with love,
Andrew and Amanda
Our Lifestyle
We enjoy hosting family gatherings. Andrew enjoys barbequing on the patio. We enjoy the national western stock show in January. Amanda loves to bake with her grandma all year long. We enjoy reading the Bible and being involved with church activities, including teaching children’s church. Amanda enjoys crafting. Amanda enjoys attending any Christian concert. Andrew enjoys playing computer games and fishing.
Amanda works in the morning as CNA at a nursing home. Andrew works twelve to thirteen hour days as a grain bin repair tech. When we both are home, we enjoy watching T.V. or relaxing outside. After working all week, we enjoy spending time outdoors, taking small shopping trips or binge our favorite netflix show. Additionally when our schedules match up, we head to the mountains. When the sun goes down, we love to sit by the fire and roast smores. One of our favorite things is seeing deer, moose, elk, bunnies and the occasional bear. We are looking forward to taking a new addition to share these memories.
Our Home & Neighborhood
We are blessed to live in beautiful Colorado, with a spacious 5 bedroom, 3 bathroom house. We have a fenced yard, where we enjoy family reunions and playing with our two dogs. Peanut is 6 years old. Pebbles will be 4 in December. We have three cats which are very independent, but loving. We enjoy taking our dogs on the walking trails to play in the sunshine. We live close to three schools, offering sports, and volunteering opportunities. We have lived in our home for 4 years and are looking forward to many more.
All year long, there are always festivities going on, including parades, rodeos, winter activities, golf and bowling leagues. It is a blessing to be a part of a wonderful community.
Our Family & Friends
Amanda has a large family. Some live within a couple hours of us, while most of them live farther away. We make it a priority to get together as often as we can. Andrew has one brother and one sister. They both live in southern Colorado. We don't get to see them often, but are able to talk to them on the phone at any time. Amanda's dad lives in the mountains and owns his own business. Her mom passed away a couple years ago. Andrew's dad lives in southern Colorado, while his mom lives in the country about forty five minutes from us. Even though we are not neighbors, we still get together and have dinner/shopping dates twice a month. We look forward to every holiday, as we get to see all of our family for fun, laughter and food. When it comes to major milestones, including birthdays, weddings, and graduations, we do everything we can to make sure we are present for all the special moments.
Adoption in Our Lives
The word adoption is not just another word for us. When asked about adoption, we are able to tell them the Lord opened this door. When Amanda's grandma adopted her daughter almost 55 years ago, all she wanted was to provide her with a loving, caring and safe home. Amanda's cousin and her husband that live in Texas adopted a baby boy about 8 years ago. They are proud of their son and are still very thankful for this blessing.
As waiting adoptive parents, Andrew and I would be over the moon to bring your child into our home. We just want to be able to give your child a home that is full of love, laughter, care and where we can make many memories.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
