Allegra & Patrick

Allegra grew up surrounded by mountains, and that connection to the outdoors has never left her. When she's not exploring the peaks, you'll find her curled up with a book, deep into a binge-worthy show, or savoring something delicious. At her core, Allegra is a caregiver. Every chapter of her career has been built around helping and comforting others, and she brings that same warmth and dedication to everyone lucky enough to be in her life.

Patrick is the kind of person who throws himself into things wholeheartedly. In the past year, he has trained for and completed two marathons. When he's not on the road, he's cheering on the Denver Broncos and Kansas Jayhawks with the kind of loyalty only a true fan understands. He's also an avid reader with a love for fiction and fantasy, and whenever the opportunity arises, he heads to the golf course.

Together, we bring curiosity, humor, and a deep love of home into everything we do. We can't wait to share all of it.

We live in a diverse and welcoming neighborhood in Colorado. Our three-bedroom home is a place of constant activity and fresh air — weekends filled with extended family, backyard time, and the smell of brisket and chicken on the smoker. We are huge sports fans, cheering on the Kansas Jayhawks and Denver Broncos every chance we get.

Weekdays are equally full of warmth — we always sit down for dinner together and wind down with quiet evenings before bedtime. Our home wouldn't be complete without our two furry family members: Remy, our big fluffy dog, who adores kids, and Leo, our sweet and shy kitty.

We love the life we've built here and can't wait to share it.

Family is at the heart of everything we do. We are fortunate to have our parents and siblings all within a twenty-minute drive. We have three nieces between the ages of three months and four years, and we cherish watching our families grow together.

Allegra grew up in the mountains of Colorado alongside her sister, Hanna. Allegra's mother, father, and Hanna share a deep love of family, travel, and the great outdoors, and it means the world to Allegra that she and Hanna get to raise their families side by side in the same city.

Patrick grew up in a home full of laughter, togetherness, and integrity. His parents, Steve and Genie, and his brothers Michael and Christopher (along with Christopher's wife, Jordan, and their two children) all live nearby and remain a constant, joyful presence in our lives.

Our friends and family have been an incredible source of love and support throughout our journey, including the challenges of infertility. They have stood by us every step of the way. We know they will embrace any child who joins our family with open arms.

Allegra: Patrick makes me laugh every day! He has a quirky, lovable personality that draws people in. His curiosity and intelligence show in everything he does. He is passionate about sports stats, running and our family. He is a dedicated, protective and kind parent to Lucas. I love Patrick with my whole heart. I am so grateful to be building our family together.

Patrick: People often joke about "marrying up" — in my case, it couldn't be more true. Allegra is simply the best person I know. She has the biggest heart! She is the most wonderful mother to Lucas, always putting his needs before her own. It may sound corny, but she genuinely makes me a better person. I am the luckiest man in the world to call Allegra my wife.
