Are Hoping to Adopt a Baby

dear expectant mother

Dear Birth Mother,

We know there is no way for us to fully understand everything you may be feeling as you consider what is best for your baby. We imagine there may be so many emotions, questions, and hopes wrapped into this decision, and we want you to know that we have so much respect for you and for the love behind every choice you are making. Adoption is especially close to our hearts because Ariana was adopted herself. Because of that, we have always understood that adoption is not just one moment—it is a lifelong story. We would want your child to grow up knowing where they came from, knowing that their birth family matters, and always feeling that every part of their story is safe to talk about and honored with love.

If you chose us, it would be an incredible honor to love and raise your child. We would surround them with laughter, traditions, adventure, stability, and a family that would welcome them with open arms.

Most of all, we would want your child to always know how deeply loved they were from the very beginning. We would speak about you with gratitude and respect and make sure they always knew that you are an important part of who they are.

Thank you for allowing us to share a small part of our hearts with you. Whatever you decide, we hope you feel supported, respected, and surrounded by compassion. Your baby is already deeply important, and so are you.

With love and gratitude, Ariana and Maxx

Our Lifestyle

Our family life is centered on togetherness, making memories, and embracing new adventures. We find joy in both big experiences and simple everyday moments. Some weekends include spontaneous trips to Disney, exploring new places, or family adventures, while others are spent at home enjoying Friday night movies, game nights, swimming or slow mornings together.

During baseball season, you can find us at the baseball field, where Maxx loves coaching and supporting the team. We enjoy being involved in our children’s activities and creating a childhood filled with traditions, experiences, and time together. We know these years go by quickly, and we try to be intentional about being present.

Ariana is fortunate to be home and devote much of her time to our family. She volunteers with the PTA, helping with classroom events, and being available for school drop-offs, practices, appointments, and all of the everyday moments.

We know another child will join naturally in our family life while also developing their own interests and traditions. Above all, we want every child to feel deeply loved, supported, celebrated and secure.

Our Home & Neighborhood

Our home is bright, busy, welcoming, and rarely quiet. There is usually laughter, music, kids coming and going, with one of our dogs following close behind. What makes it special is the love, silliness, comfort and traditions we've created here.

Our neighborhood is warm and family-centered, with close friends around the corner and excellent schools within walking distance. Gia and Cody, our lovable dogs, add plenty of joy and a little extra chaos.

When we imagine another child growing up here, we picture family dinners, movie nights, neighborhood walks, holidays, pets, laughter, and love. Most of all, we want our home to always feel like their safe place for all our children, where they know they truly belong.

Our Family & Friends

Family and friends are a huge part of our lives, and we feel incredibly fortunate to have such a loving support system.

Ariana’s stepmom, Mami, lives in the next town over, while her mom, Nana, has a home just five minutes from us and visits often. Ariana’s grandmother also lives nearby, and we treasure that our children are able to have a relationship with their great-grandmother. Maxx’s mom and stepdad live in another state but remain closely involved and speak with the family regularly.

Although our siblings also live out of state, we stay connected and love watching the cousins grow up together. Our close friends are equally important to us, many living nearby and sharing holidays, birthdays, meals, and everyday moments with our family.

When thinking about welcoming a new child into our family we think about how they would be celebrated in our special family traditions. During the holidays, we love putting on christmas pajamas, making hot cocoa and piling in the car to search out the prettiest decorated houses. Birthdays are just as special and every year we fill the hallway outside the kids’ rooms with balloons so they wake up to a fun surprise. We love creating these special moments and would be excited to share them with another child, as well as creating traditions that belong especially to them.

Adoption in Our Lives

Adoption has always been deeply personal to us. Ariana was adopted and Maxx’s father was also adopted, so adoption is already a meaningful part of our family’s story.

Because of Ariana’s own experience, she understands how important it is for a child to know where they come from, to have their story shared openly and lovingly, and to know that their biological family and identity will always be honored.

For both of us, growing our family through adoption feels incredibly special and, in many ways, full circle. We would be honored to welcome another child into our family and give them a childhood filled with love, security, laughter, traditions, and adventure. Completing our family through adoption would mean more to us than we could ever fully express.
