dear expectant mother
You are strong, you are amazing, and you are going to be okay. We can only imagine the road you are on. Life is made up of every single step we take, and those steps got us here talking to you. We want you to know that we are here for the right reason. We have so much love to give, and we want to share that love with a baby who can call us his or her family. We have two young boys with huge hearts and endless laughter who are excited for another brother or sister to join in the fun.
Our vision of the future is a house full of giggles and blanket forts, eating cookie dough and licking the brownie batter beaters, camping and s'mores by the fire, road trips to places we’ve never been, and family reunions near and far. We want you to know that we are grateful for this opportunity, and we can promise a few things: we will love and cherish your child; we will provide a happy, loud, full life; and we will give them everything a child needs to thrive.
Our story started with us finding one another online through a dating website. From the first time we emailed, the communication never stopped. We love being together and doing things as a couple. Eric is a stay-at-home dad and an interior designer, and Trisha is a credit manager with an office only five minutes from home. We love to be outdoors no matter the season, from winter hiking to summer camping. We also love to cook and bake and try new foods: Eric is a genius with pies, and Trisha makes some great chocolate chip cookies!
Our Home & Pets
We live in a small town, in a historic farmhouse with six bedrooms. We have almost three acres to play on and enjoy. We love animals, too, so we have two cats, three dogs, and five chickens. With so much room to spread out, it’s kind of like a mini-farm. Our neighborhood is quiet and the kind of place where everyone says hello and helps one another out. We’re only blocks from the elementary school, and there are two great parks within walking distance. Our favorite event is the live music in the park on summer nights.
Our Extended Family
We both have two brothers each. Trisha’s brothers have kids and live within an hour of us, and Eric’s brothers are fairly close as well. Trisha’s parents live only ten minutes away and love being Grammie and Grampa. We love holidays and celebrating together.
Thanksgiving and Christmas Day are favorites that we host at our house with whoever can make it: friends and family, and even sometimes people we’ve just met. We also have two honorary Aunties that play a huge role in our family: Trisha’s best friend Kristin, and Trisha’s “little sister” Reba, who Trisha met through the local Big Brothers, Big SIsters program.
We look forward to sharing Jack-o-Lantern pizzas on Halloween and Fourth of July Parades. Christmas Eve nights at Trisha's brother's house, with 50+ people piled in the basement is one of our absolute favorite times of year. Our families are very supportive of us and look forward to us growing our family, as there will be more kids to love.
What Led Us To Adoption
Adoption was a topic we discussed the first time we met in person. We didn’t think we could have children biologically, so we agreed from the start that adoption would be in our future. Trisha’s oldest brother is adopted, and she always knew families were built from the heart. We were totally surprised and blessed to get pregnant twice and bring two beautiful boys into the world. We agree this luck was amazing, but we have more love to give, and so began our journey to adopt. We are unable to have more children biologically, and we have oodles of love to give.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
