dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We first want you to know how very brave you are. You are beyond selfless and stronger than anyone can understand. Your consideration of this path is proof of that! We want to also thank you for taking time to get to know us. If you choose us, you will be giving us the chance to grow our family and to love in a way we never knew was possible. Your journey is not an easy one, but we will make sure your child knows how incredibly courageous and loving their mother is. We could never thank you enough for everything you are doing.
If you choose us, you can take comfort in knowing your child is being loved unconditionally in our home. Your child will be raised in a home filled with love, compassion, acceptance, hugs, movie nights, outdoor exploration, Halloween trick-or-treating, snowman building, Christmas tree decorating, Easter egg dying, pool and lake days, learning, and forgiving.
Again, we thank you for your consideration but, most importantly, your courage and strength.
Suzy and Sam
We live on a family farm in Kansas. Our home is where Sam grew up and makes us the fifth generation there! Sam is a grain crop farmer and also does farm work for other families in the area. Suzy teaches art at a classical Christian school where she is also the nature studies teacher and preschool aid. She spends a few hours a week in the office of a very respected dance studio in town. We are fortunate that our jobs also include our hobbies and passions! Suzy is always looking to add more plants to the house and landscape. Sam likes to be in the shop tinkering with equipment. At home, we enjoy being outside if the weather is nice, working on the garden or exploring the creek. We also enjoy watching our favorite shows, grilling, sitting around a fire, and being with friends and family.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a newly renovated 1960s ranch-style home. We have a dry creek behind our house that is great for exploring. Just on the other side of the creek is another cattle farm that is home to some of our closest friends. They have two little girls. Sam’s father lives just down the road. We live in an award-winning small town with a wonderful school district. Art studios, museums, small businesses, and restaurants line our downtown. We are also home to the small college Suzy graduated from. Our church community is one of the best around: encouraging, supportive, and always willing to help. Living on a farm, we have many cats and kittens! We also have a dog, Tucker. He is an incredibly loving, intelligent, and happy dog!
Our Extended Family
Suzy is the youngest of three sisters. Her oldest sister and husband raise their two children in Suzy’s childhood home. We see our niece and nephew as much as possible. Suzy’s other sister has a successful career in theater in New York. When she gets back to Kansas, we all spend as much time together as we can. It has become a tradition to participate in the annual Glow Run. Suzy, along with her sisters and 10 year old niece, Summer typically run/walk the race together while everyone dresses up. Family get-togethers often consist of playing catch, swimming, fishing, or being outside. The rest of Suzy’s extended family lives nearby. Her father still lives in her hometown, and her mother is only a few short hours away.
The majority of Sam’s large extended family live very close to the family farm. He has two brothers. His older brother is a music conductor in Washington. His younger brother lives only a few hours away with his wife and new baby boy! Sam’s father lives down the road from the farm, and his mother lives about ten minutes away. There are often large family gatherings with food and fun with Sam’s side. Sam’s mother and father are frequent visitors to our home.
What Led Us To Adoption
Our life has been handed many curveballs, but each one has brought new opportunities and adventures! Suzy was unexpectedly diagnosed with breast cancer in 2020. Even though she is healthy now, due to medical reasons, she is not able to have biological children. However, adoption holds a special place in our hearts as her mother is adopted and two of Sam’s cousins are adopted! Adoption has always been part of our vocabulary with our close family members having been adopted, so we naturally turned our attention to this route in order to fulfill our wishes of growing our family. We know we are meant to be parents, and we can’t wait to create a bigger family of our very own.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
