dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Parent,

It’s hard to find the right words to say everything we want to say. Thank you for viewing our profile and learning more about us. We are grateful and humbled that you are considering entrusting us with this tremendous gift. If we are fortunate enough to be chosen, your child will be welcomed into our hearts and families wholeheartedly. They will become our biggest and most important priority.

Should you choose us, your baby will never question how much they are loved. We have a close, tight-knit family that is just bursting to add another little one they can dote on and fuss over. We love attending our nieces and nephews’ sporting events, school plays, and concerts and having sleepovers! Our parents are active, involved grandparents who can’t wait to have one more grandchild to love and spoil. Add in cousins, aunts, uncles, and friends, and your baby will always have love and support.

We will give your child every opportunity to grow and succeed. We will guide them through all of life’s ups and downs. We’ll instill a strong sense of confidence that they can overcome any obstacle that comes their way and that we will be right by their side. It’s important that a child knows where he or she comes from, and this includes their culture and heritage. That will be a priority for us.

Thank you again for considering us.
Steven and Matthew

About Us

We met in 2009 and married in 2017. Steve is quieter and more reserved, while Matthew is more outgoing and talkative. We balance each other out well. Steve works for a senator and has been in his job for 12 years. Matthew works in payroll and human resources for a large retail store. We own a three-bedroom, two-bathroom home, where we live with our two chocolate Labs. We love playing with our dogs; spending time with family, including two nieces and two nephews; watching TV and movies together; and visiting with friends. We’re big fans of the local sports teams and get to games a few times a year with friends. Steve enjoys exercising, reading, and bad reality TV; Matthew likes working on projects in the yard or around the home, taking road trips, and playing in an outdoor volleyball league.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a three-bedroom, two-bath home we purchased just two months before we got married. Our neighborhood is quiet, with a mix of families and retired couples. An elementary school is just down the street, and it’s common to see parents in the neighborhood walking their kids to school. We are so excited for the day we get to do so too! We’re close to two different dog parks, which we take Mason and Skye to every morning. Both parks are on lakes, and the dogs love the water. Our backyard is large and fenced in. Mason (age 9) and Skye (age 6) are a huge part of our lives; we are those dog people. Skye was recently diagnosed with diabetes; we have been giving them both extra love and attention.

Our Extended Family

Matthew grew up in a farming family with both an older and younger sister. His parents have been married for nearly 50 years. Matthew’s oldest sister has two children, who we are very close to. His younger sister also has two children, both boys, and is expecting her third.

Steve also grew up in a farming family. He is the oldest child, with two younger sisters. Steve moved to our city at 18, and both sisters eventually followed. His middle sister lives in a suburb with her husband and 11-year-old twins. We spend a lot of time with his sisters and the kids. On most weekends, you’ll find Steve at one of the kids’ school or sports activities. His parents live about two hours away but are both retired now and visit our city often.

We both have a number of aunts, uncles, and cousins who are part of our lives as well.

What Led Us To Adoption

When we decided to grow our family, we took our time and weighed all of our options to ensure we chose the route that was right for us. After diving into the details of adoption, we knew that was the way we wanted to go. We have been fortunate that our jobs allow us to live a comfortable life, and we want nothing more than to become parents and share our love with a child. A close friend of ours was adopted as an infant, and seeing the love and connection she has with her parents, brothers, and niece and nephew reinforced our decision that this is the path meant for us.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
