dear expectant mother
When we sat down to write a letter to our first expectant mother, we were not sure what to say…Now that we are on this journey again, and are blessed to be parents, we are still left speechless...To have our eyes open to the amazing, selfless act that you, a wonderful brave and strong women are faced with, is not easily put into words. How do you describe the act of considering giving the most wonderful gift someone can give? Another thing that is the same for this journey is the amount of love, and excitement we as a family have. Considering that there is now a little one who is exploding with love and can not wait to be a big sister, We think there’s even more love and excitement to go around! We stand here today humbled by the very idea that you would even consider us to care for your sweet child. There are so many things we can promise you… we can promise to always provide for them, to always put them first, to cherish them like the blessing and gift that they are. We promise to always honor you, and celebrate all the wonderful light that this new little life brings, not just today, but each day...We can promise above all that they will be loved, and they will feel that love everyday.
We are two hearts who found one another in college… It was clear from the start that we shared the same hope of having a loving family one day. We were married a year after graduation, we could not wait to share all the love we had for one another! We want nothing more than to continue growing our family, we are so excited to be on this path of adoption again. Adoption has already touched our hearts and changed our lives when we were blessed with the adoption of our beautiful daughter. Our family and friends are excited and supportive of our journey, they are all eagerly awaiting for us to add to our family.
Our Home & Pets
We live in a wonderful family community. We have so many beautiful parks, ponds and playgrounds. One of our favorite things to do is go on nature walks and feed the ducks. Our neighborhood is centered around a small but cute downtown area, we love our little adventures and can’t wait to have our future baby join us. Our daughter loves to take dance class, soccer and gymnastics, we have so many opportunities for children to learn and grow. We have two dogs, which our daughter calls “buddies.” Pearl, is a white maltipoo, and Bootsie, is a lab mix. They love to snuggle and go on long family walks.
Our Extended Family
We have such an amazing family! We do not consider our families separate, we all get along and do as much as we can together. Sarah’s sister and her daughter, who’s close in age to our daughter live close by. We treasure all the time we spend together with them and all our daughters other cousins who are also close in age. Many of them will be attending preschool together soon.
We always host family Christmas. Garrett loves to cook for everyone. We pull out lots of tables and chairs and push the furniture back and all eat together, then play Secret Santa. One of our favorite traditions is going into the mountains together, selecting then cutting down our Christmas tree. For Thanksgiving, Garrett always cooks for his team and we have everyone over for a Thanksgiving dinner. Both families spend every Easter together too at Sarah’s parents beach house.
Adoption has taught us that friends can truly become family as well. We love having our friends over with their little ones. We are blessed to call them family as well.
Our Adoption Story
We always knew our path to grow our family would look different from other couples. Sarah was told at 18, she would be unable to carry biological children. This didn’t stop our desire to become parents. Angel Adoption helped start our family with the adoption of our daughter. Our lives were forever changed by the amount of love that came from the gift her selfless and loving birthmother gave us. We feel honored and blessed to have the privilege to be called mommy and daddy, and we’re thankful everyday. Our daughter would make an amazing big sister, she can’t wait for her forever best friend!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
