dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We are so grateful you are taking the time to take this brief look into our lives to get to know us a bit better. We cannot begin to understand the difficult choice you now face. Even though we don’t know you yet, we know you are considering adoption because of your strength and courage and because of the love you have for your child. There are many things in life that cannot be promised, but what we can promise you is that we have a home full of love and that we want the very best for your child.
If you choose us, we wish to respect your wants and needs but would love to get to know you more if that is something you also want. We also wish to be an open book and to answer questions you may have about us or our life that are not reflected in our profile.
Thank you so much for considering adoption as a choice for you and your little one. Please know that no matter what you choose, we wish you and your little one the very best, and you will remain in our thoughts and prayers.
Sara and Justin
We met randomly in 2004 while Justin was working at a music shop and Sara was learning to play guitar. Now, seventeen years later, Justin doesn’t work at a music shop and Sara doesn’t play guitar! We both have a lot in common, such as being very soft hearted for animals in need and creating new adventures with each other. But we also have many differences! Sara loves to lose herself in a great novel, whereas Justin prefers to read about philosophy or more intellectual books. Justin loves to cycle with a bit of a competitive edge, but Sara prefers the relaxed and slow pace of yoga. And while we both believe family (by blood or by friendship) to be the most important thing, Sara likes to go all out and throw big events for family, while Justin likes smaller, more intimate affairs.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a comfy, pet-friendly, kiddo-ready home in a very quiet and family oriented neighborhood. Our neighbors, most of whom we know, are constantly out walking dogs, jogging, biking, and playing in the yards. We enjoy spending time with our dogs, friends, and family in our home, and very much enjoy hosting holidays. We have five rescue dogs (yes, five)! We never intended on having this many pups, but we both have a tender heart for animals, and these furry friends were in need of a loving home. They all have ample experience around children and often ditch us to hang out with kiddos that are in our home.
Our Extended Family
We both have large extended families. Sara is the oldest of four siblings and also the oldest of fourteen cousins, most of which live in Iowa or nearby states. Sara and her teenage sister have grown very close as they both have a deep love for animals; most recently they went to the National Rodeo Finals in Las Vegas for her sister’s 16th birthday. Sara has always had a very special relationship with her grandmothers, often playing games and learning the family recipes from them. Now that we live nearer family, we look forward to the annual family reunion with Sara’s extended family.
Justin is the oldest of three siblings and is somewhere in the middle of eighteen cousins. Justin’s family is spread throughout the country: California, Washington, Texas, Tennessee, Michigan, North Carolina, and more! We love traveling across the country to visit with family for special occasions or for no reason at all. Justin is especially close with his cousin, who asked Justin to be his son’s godfather; we enjoy going to Justin’s cousin’s home to spend Thanksgiving and plan to continue the tradition for many years to come.
What Led Us To Adoption
We knew several years ago it was time for us to start a family, but it was not happening naturally for us. Then we realized God was telling us our “natural” path was that of adoption. Before we made the very big decision of adopting, we decided to speak with Justin’s aunt, uncle, and cousin as they had gone through the adoption process before. After a heartfelt conversation full of insight, laughter, and tears of joy, we knew adoption was the right path.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
