dear expectant mother

Thank you for considering us to be your baby’s adoptive family. Our thoughts are with you during this emotional time. We hope our commitment to love and provide for your child can bring you some comfort. We know firsthand how the adoption journey can be a beautiful blessing. We received our adoptive son at a week old, and it was love at first sight. We are looking to complete our family one more time through adoption. Our family likes to travel, play games with friends and family, and do activities around our home, school, and community. We participate in our local schools fundraisers and activities. This year Matt and Landon ran in the Pumpkin Run. We love to laugh, live, and play. We also love to be outdoors. We go on bike rides, hikes, swimming, and to the beach all the time. We have been married for 14 years and both grew up in fun, loving, and busy households surrounded by brothers, sisters, and extended family relatives. Our faith is an important and large part of our life. We believe in putting God and family first and will strive for a God loving home. We are mindful of individual choice, however, and look forward to learning about the background of your child as well. We are believers in striving for optimal health of the mind, body, and soul as much as possible. We appreciate your understanding and love towards your child to sacrifice your own feelings and desires in order to open up future opportunities for them.

About Us

Matthew grew up in Iowa until he was 15 and then his family moved out to Arizona where he lived until recently transferring with his company to the Midwest. He graduated with his Mechanical Engineer degree and is a Commercial Project Manager for a company in the Midwest focusing on HVAC design and installation.

Nicole grew up in Wisconsin. She met Matt at a volleyball get-together in Phoenix. They got married in 2004 and lived in Arizona until recently relocating to the Midwest for Matt’s job. Nicole graduated with her Education Degree and worked as a teacher for a couple of years before adopting our son. Currently she is a stay-at-home mom.

Together, we bonded over a love for the outdoors including many sports of volleyball, skiing, hiking, biking, and swimming, as well as, traveling, family, and our Christian faith!

Our Home & Pets

Our family lives in 3 bedroom, 3 bath home in a semi-rural neighborhood on 2 ¼ acres. The elementary school our son goes to, is ranked in the top 5 % in the state. We have a play area with a large wooden swingset and slide, sandbox, and long driveway to ride bikes and scooters on. We also have a large deck and porch to entertain family and friends. There is a large yard to play lawn games and run around with our dog. We have two neighbors beside us and a subdivision with newer homes across the street. We are able to bike to parks and love heading to the beach in the summer and swimming in Lake Michigan.

Our Extended Family

We like to travel and experience new places. In this month, we have had a visit from both sets of grandparents (one set from Arizona, one from Wisconsin), and we are heading up North this weekend for a 40th anniversary party for a Aunt and Uncle who live in Canada, but are coming for a surprise party at Nicole’s Grandmother’s house in Wisconsin. For Thanksgiving, we go to Nicole’s dad, sister, and brother’s town a couple hours North of us where there are a lot of cousins and family. For Christmas, we like to be in a place that has snow to participate in the snow activities. Usually these activities are in Wisconsin or Colorado as we have friends and family in both areas.

What Led Us To Adoption

Matthew always wanted to adopt. His best friend, when he was growing up in Iowa, was adopted. Nicole’s aunt and uncle also adopted 2 kids when she was younger. After we got married, Nicole experienced complications with endometriosis and had to have a hysterectomy. We were blessed to adopt our son, Landon, in 2012. He is the light and joy of our lives. He knows his adoption story and his background. He also helps us write our update letters two times a year. From ages 4-5, Landon has helped Nicole nanny a couple kids in our home a few times a month. He loves helping out with younger kids. We are looking to complete our family through adoption once more.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
