dear expectant mother
When we bought our home and got settled, we decided we were ready for the next step. That next step is bringing a child into our home. Adoption is the obvious choice for us, because we have so much love to share and so much support from our friends and families. While you make this difficult decision, know we have no limit to the love and opportunity we can provide your child.
We have many traditions in our family, but with your child, we hope to create more and to teach your child everything we know and to learn everything we don’t. We cannot wait to take your child to his or her first picnic, first trip to the zoo, first day of school, first steps...all of his or her “firsts,” we cannot wait to share together as a family.
More than anything, we look forward to sharing our love and our knowledge and completing our family. We thank you with all of our hearts for considering us as parents to your child.
Twelve years ago, we met at work and became fast friends. It wasn’t until three years ago we started dating, and a year-and-a-half later we were engaged! Jimmy works as a manufacturing engineer and has been at his job for a little over twenty years; Lynette is a planner, and she’s been at her job for almost two years now. We enjoy going to the movies, playing putt-putt, gaming, playing board games, doing puzzles, and hanging out with our dogs, Maggie and Sadie. We just love to make ourselves and others happy, which is why, for our vacations, we visit friends and family who live nearby and take the dogs with us, so there’s never a dull moment!
Our Home & Pets
Our home has three bedrooms, two baths, and a great, big fenced-in backyard that offers plenty of room for your child and our dogs to play. We live in a quiet, friendly neighborhood, the kind where everyone waves as you pass by, and we love to take walks to the local parks and playgrounds. Sometimes, we like to stay in, and in those cases we enjoy board games and card games in our cozy family room. Living in Florida, there are so many things to do and see, and we can’t wait to go to Disney World, the beach, take airboat rides, play putt-putt, and spend time with family.
Our Extended Family
Our families are really similar in so many ways. We celebrate all holidays, birthdays, anniversaries, “pick a zoo,” picnics, Christmas in July, and opening gifts on Christmas Eve together. If it sounds like a lot, it is! But it’s so fun to always have so many chances to get together. As the kids get older, they get to go camping and fishing, too!
When we say “pick a zoo,” it’s just like it sounds: we visit family, and it’s someone’s job to “pick a zoo” to explore for the day; we take lunches and enjoy a picnic. It’s a once-a-year affair, so we’re always certain to make it special by taking lots of family photos to share.
Christmas in July is also just how it sounds: we pick a weekend to celebrate together since the regular holiday season is always so busy for everyone and their respective extended families. This means gifts on Christmas Eve is a more intimate affair, where we start at our house and open gifts with Jimmy’s family and then make our way to his parents’ house for dinner, more gift-giving and -opening, and, of course, playing games!
What Led Us To Adoption
It has never been a question of if we adopted, but rather when. Lynette has two cousins who were adopted, and who are undoubtedly loved members of our family. We have seen families bring children into their lives and love them unconditionally, and we know our families will love any child we adopt the same. We are super excited to finally grow our family, and we cannot wait for a new baby to join our household and fill it with light, laughter, and love.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
