dear expectant mother

We would like you to know how much we admire you and that we will be forever grateful you are considering this incredible sacrifice! We cannot begin to comprehend how difficult this process must be for you, but you have our word that if you choose us, your child will be raised in a home full of unconditional love and support. We will always put your child first and will allow him or her to be whoever it is that makes him or her happy in life.

As first-time parents going through this process, we have found ourselves overcome with a wide variety of emotions, ranging from tons of enthusiasm to nervousness but most of all so much love and excitement. While we are not perfect, your child will be loved and raised by an honest, caring, and respectful couple. Your child will also grow up among a large group of family and friends whose level of anticipation and excitement for us to be parents is well off the charts. We look forward to giving your child a world full of love, amazing experiences, fun, and the best of us. We are so thankful for you and your most incredible sacrifice! We cannot wait to start this amazing journey together.

About Us

Our story started about four and a half years ago while working together in human resources roles at a large biotech in MA. While we didn’t know one another, we’d pass by each other multiple times a day, and once we finally got introduced, the rest was history! Shaun is hardworking, trustworthy, funny, and a huge sports fan. Liz is hard-working, honest and witty and loves to travel. We love each other’s company and enjoy going out for long walks with the dogs, hanging by the waterfront, traveling, exploring new restaurants, or spending time with our family and friends. Shaun loves to play golf and tries to get out as much as possible, while Liz is passionate about working out and can be found on her Peloton daily.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is in a quiet neighborhood across from the ocean. Our home is a three-bedroom, three-bath contemporary-style home with a fenced-in, lush backyard that is perfect for our dogs and soon-to-be child! Within a short walk within our neighborhood, there is a beach and a park with slides, swings, and fun water activities for kids. One of the other key reasons we moved to our town is the highly reputable school system. In addition to the two of us, we have two loving rescue dogs. We spoil them like crazy, and they live incredibly happy lives. There are loads of families in our neighborhood, and it would be a great place to grow up!

Our Extended Family

We’re both close to our families, which is incredibly important to us. Liz is an only child, and her parents only live about 20 minutes away. Her extended family is pretty small, but they see each other during the holidays and make sure to stay in touch with calls and texts throughout the year.

Shaun’s parents are divorced but both remarried, and he remains close with all of his parents (and tons of extended family!). In addition, Shaun has a younger brother (and best friend and golf partner) and a stepsister (with children of her own). We enjoy watching our nephew’s hockey games, catching up with all the kids, and attending all sorts of family gatherings. Shaun’s family gets together frequently for cookouts and celebrations, and it is always a great time!

We also love having our immediate families get together at our house for BBQs. We make it a point to balance time with the families, especially around the holidays, and will alternate where we go for occasions like Thanksgiving, Christmas, and Easter.

What Led Us To Adoption

After unsuccessful attempts at conceiving on our own, our first choice was adoption. We have witnessed the miracle of adoption firsthand with our best friends, who adopted two children! We have so much love to give your child and cannot wait to welcome a beautiful baby into our home. We are so excited adoption is going to be a part of our story, and it was one of the most impactful decisions we have ever had to make as a couple!

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
