dear expectant mother
Dear Expectant Mother,
We feel extremely blessed you would consider our family as a potential home for your baby. We have spent our lives up until now focusing on our educational and professional goals. We will now dedicate the remainder of our lives to our son and your child. You will never have to worry about your child being in need of anything, but we will also instill the value of the dollar and the hard work necessary to become a valued member of society. Our parents worked hard to provide us with safe and comfortable homes that gave us the foundation to be successful. We look forward to passing these same characteristics and values on to our children.
Our families are anxiously awaiting the new addition to our family. We simply cannot wait to wear our matching Christmas pajamas, travel to different countries, and support the adventures of our children! Your baby will immediately become the center of not only our world and home but also the world of a large extended family beyond grandparents, aunts, and uncles that includes second and third cousins and many family friends who are anxious to visit, spoil your baby, and steal hugs.

About Us
We both work in higher education at a university in our town. Lisa works on a part-time basis and remotely since our son came to our home. We are able to see each other throughout the day, enjoying all mealtimes together and collaborating on projects to support the university and our community. We have a genuine love and respect for each other as husband and wife, working professionals, and best friends. We look forward to wrapping up our workdays in our home by making dinner and playing and relaxing with our son and our bulldog, Harper. Our weekends are relaxing and busy as we attend community events and work on our house. We also enjoy traveling, cooking, gardening, and exploring new towns on our weekends.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is a large three-bedroom, three-bathroom 1960s ranch with an outdoor patio and built-in grill, on a cul-de-sac with great neighbors! We love relaxing and playing on our patio and in our backyard. Our yard is big enough for gardens, a bonfire pit, and a mud kitchen for the kids! Our seven-year-old bulldog, Harper, enjoys lounging on the deck. We know all of our neighbors and enjoy watching our families grow up together. We attend the YMCA, library, community splash pad, university sporting events, theater performances, and other community events, where we always see our neighbors and colleagues from the university. Our town is rural, but we are a short distance from several cities, where we visit for special events and even Kindermusik classes!
Our Extended Family
Both sets of grandparents are elated at the prospect of another grandchild entering into their world. All four grandparents are retired, so they are just waiting for the opportunity to embrace a new baby! Jake’s sister and Lisa’s sister’s family (two-year-old niece and four-year-old nephew) cannot wait for the arrival of a new baby! Our aunts and cousins on both sides of the family are all “on call” to visit and help us welcome a new baby into our family. We cannot wait to introduce our baby to the annual family beach vacation and the special Christmas traditions celebrating our Italian heritage.
Our Adoption Story
We knew from our first date that adoption would be part of our journey together. Jacob’s sister came to live with his family at the age of three months from Korea, and Lisa’s family had also previously pursued adoption. During our first adoption journey, we were blessed to be connected with an amazing birthmother with whom we remained in regular contact. We couldn’t have asked for a better adoption experience and want to let our son be a sibling so they may grow up together in our home.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
