dear expectant mother

We want to thank you, first of all, for choosing life for this precious unborn child. Though we can never know how it feels to be in your position, we want you to know we see you as a parent who has made a great sacrifice on the basis of love for your child. The magnitude of love that it takes to carry and give birth to a child and allow another family to raise that child is immeasurable.

We treasure your heart for considering all of your options. We have prayed individually and as a family for God to place the right baby in our home. We pray also that you, too, will feel the intent of our hearts to bring up this child in all the love we have to offer. Thank you for considering our family.

About Us

We met as middle schoolers attending our church’s youth group in 1998 and have been inseparable since. After a long courtship through the high school and college years, we got married in 2006. In 2010 our first son, Mason, was born, and in 2016 we were blessed with the arrival of our youngest son, Robert. Leigh has a master’s degree in education and homeschools Mason and Robert. Brian works as a maintenance technician for the city where we live. We are very close and spend a lot of time together. We are actively involved in our church and participate in a homeschool co-op. We enjoy games of all sorts (video games, board games, card games) and love visiting Disney for day trips. We enjoy spending time at the local lake fishing, kayaking, and observing Florida nature.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a small town in central Florida, where up until a few years ago, there was only one stoplight. Leigh grew up here, and her family is one of the founding families of this small former citrus community. We are about an hour away from Orlando and the beautiful east coast of Florida, where we enjoy beaches and all the nature the region has to offer. We also enjoy being cozy at home with our three dogs, cat, and enormous lizard.

Our Extended Family

One of the main reasons we chose to live in our small town, besides Leigh’s family roots, is that we are close to the majority of our extended family in this area. Leigh’s father passed away in 2015, but her mom is a very involved member of the family. Nini (as we call her) lives about a minute and a half away, and our family is usually there if they aren’t here at our home.

Brian’s family tree is more intricate, involving a set of biological and adoptive parents as well. Brian’s mother and father live in a small town about 20 minutes away. His grandmothers are still living as well, and we see both frequently. Brian’s adoptive father and his wife are about 30 minutes away, and we see them on a regular basis. Brian has three brothers and one sister, all who are married and have children of their own. In all, there are 12 cousins aged 17 to newborn who come together for family gatherings and holidays.

What Led Us To Adoption

Adoption is a subject that is dear to the heart of our family. Brian was adopted through marriage by a man who was a wonderful father. To this day, he sees Brian as his son, not a stepson or adopted son. Brian and his father, Paul, enjoy a very close relationship. Paul has always taught and demonstrated for Brian that love is what makes a family, not genetics. Moreover, our families view adoption as a beautiful demonstration of the gospel of Christ. Because they were adopted into God’s family when they came to Christ, the grace they have experienced has expanded their capacity to love. Our cup of love runs over, and we all wish to share it with another child.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
