dear expectant mother

How do we thank someone we don’t even know yet for considering giving us the greatest gift of our lifetime? Even though we write that, we also have had moments where we already feel so connected to you. We can only imagine the feelings you are having and want you to know we honor and validate every bit of you. Adoption has become an invaluable road for us, and we are excited to experience all you want to share with us! The child you are considering gifting us will always know of your bravery, strength, and love.

We will raise them in a loving and patient environment, ensuring they have everything they need to live a healthy and well-rounded life.

Aside from us, our loving families are waiting with open arms. They, too, are ready to support and love this baby, from grandparents, cousins, aunties, and uncles to dear friends.

Of course, we will respect your preferences, but please know that no matter what, you will hold an intimate place in our hearts, and we will share that with your baby.

About Us

We met in 2008 through mutual friends in sunny Southern California. Over the next six years, we would develop a special friendship, which would form into a loving relationship and end up in marriage in 2014. We have really grown together over the years and joined hobbies, including camping, traveling, baseball games (Go Dodgers!), hiking, gardening, and DIY home projects. Donnie has been a police officer since 2001 at our local community college, and although challenging at times, he has loved protecting and serving his community. He is a stickler for a nice lawn and loves interacting with our two dogs. Kaylynn has been working with a health insurance company since 2014, and while she loves the stability, she is always looking to learn and experience more. You can see her often planning a new vacation with friends and family or tending to her wild vegetable garden!

Our Home & Pets

We’re nestled in the foothills of the giant Sequoias, where Donnie was born. We love being a part of this gracious and diverse community with its natural charm, stunning art, and rich history. We are also lucky to be surrounded by agriculture, which transfers to our local restaurants and even our home table! In 2001 we bought our house from Donnie’s grandmother, who had it built in 1967. This home has very special roots, but we have definitely made it uniquely our own. Each room and outdoor space is cozy, inviting, and peaceful, and all who enter are greeted by our two loving dogs and lazy cat.

Our Extended Family

We have been dreaming with our family about how we will share our family traditions with our new little one, from biweekly family dinners to weekend hikes, baseball games, and summer vacations at a very special lake. Kaylynn has three brothers and Donnie has one sister, who are all so eager to be uncles and an auntie! All of our siblings are married, and we have seven nieces and nephews, ranging in age from four months to 15 years old; they are constantly asking us when our new baby will arrive! Between the two of us, we also have six parents, whom we are very close to and who have truly paved the way to us becoming parents.

To top it all off, we have three step-siblings who are married with six children and an abundance of cousins, aunts, and uncles. While most of our gatherings are in smaller family groups, our calendars are full of various occasions. However, a couple times a year we ALL get together and create some of the most special memories. We are so thankful for our families and how well everyone has blended together and cannot wait to keep growing with our own addition!

What Led Us To Adoption

From the moment we were married, we have dreamed of having a family. We’ve tried everything possible to do that ourselves, but after realizing we cannot, adoption provided a new hope for us! As a little girl, Kaylynn dreamed of being a mommy, and now we get to experience the excitement of adoption together! We spent some time chatting with others who have experienced adoption, but the one who touched us the most was Kaylynn’s grandmother. She was adopted in the 1930s and shared what this meant to her and how wonderful her life had been. How lovely it would be to honor her life by giving that same gift she was given

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
