dear expectant mother

Dear Expectant Mother,

We can’t imagine what you're going through. The fact that you are putting the time, energy, and research into this process means you care. We realize it’s the toughest decision you will ever make. We are so grateful to be considered!

We want you to know you are not alone, and we want the best for you and your baby. Both of us come from loving, family-oriented households, and once we married, all we wanted was to raise a family together and see our parents become amazing grandparents. We never saw fertility issues in our future, but we feel that chapter of our lives really guided us to this and feel it was always meant to be.

We promise, should you choose us, your child will be cherished and raised in a loving, nurturing, and supportive home. We dream about middle of the night feedings, first words, first steps, going up north, holidays with cousins, and extracurricular activities. We are so excited to begin this journey with you!

About Us

We are Katie and Brian. We’ve been married for four years and met on the volleyball court eight years ago. We each owned our own house and each had a dog. After the wedding, we bought our dream house out in the country with seven acres and a barn. We imagined our future kids and the dogs running around and exploring nature. A typical week for us involves walking our dogs, working in the garden, volleyball league, visiting parents for dinner, and spending time together. We are always working on either house or yard projects to get our current house to the stage of calling it our home, where we can just relax and enjoy every day together and be ready for what comes ahead for us. Brian has a Bachelor of Science in civil engineering and is a plant manager in the construction field. Katie is a licensed esthetician part time.

Our Home & Pets

We live with our two dogs in our dream house on seven acres in Wisconsin. We have four bedrooms plus a playroom and a barn. We live in a quiet, smaller town but live close to shopping and restaurants. We have great neighbors and plan to be here for a long time. There are parks, trails, and dozens of lakes nearby. The schools in our district are smaller but great, and our friends’ kids love them. We have two girl dogs, which we adore and love seeing run around the property living their best lives! They are also obsessed with each other and get along so cute.

Our Extended Family

Both our parents are still happily married. Katie has three younger brothers, a sister-in-law, and a four-year-old nephew. They are close and grew up camping, fishing, exploring nature, taking family bike rides, and having lots of family get-togethers. Katie was nine years old when her youngest brother was born, and he quickly became her world. She wanted to help with everything, which is when she knew she wanted to be a mom. Extended family get-togethers are still a big deal.

Brian has an older sister, and his parents have been married 42 years now. His extended family is quite large and tight knit. His cousin has an adopted son as well, and we see how blessed they are with him in their lives. Growing up, Brian had many friends and played basketball, baseball, and football. His friends all have started their families now and are anxiously waiting for Brian to join the dad gang.

We both had happy childhoods, and looking back at those times makes us even more enthusiastic about this journey. We value family time more than anything, and our family will always be a priority.

What Led Us To Adoption

After getting married, we started trying to grow our family and shortly after found out Katie has endometriosis, which would make it very difficult to get pregnant. We did rounds of IVF with no luck, which then led us to try embryo adoption with hopes of being able to carry a baby. That was heartbreaking as well because we never got a positive test. The sorrow that came from all the years of trying led us to realize it doesn't matter how a baby comes to us; we just want a family together! We are thrilled we are in a position to adopt and excited to have a concrete plan ahead. We have never been more sure of something in our lives.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
