dear expectant mother
To a Beautiful Loving Mother:
We want you to know how brave and loving you are for considering this selfless decision. We understand how this is a life-changing decision for you, and should you choose us, it will change our lives as well. You will be giving us a precious and beautiful gift we wouldn’t be able to have if it were not for your bravery.
We have so much love to share with a child. Because of your bravery, courage, and selfless consideration, our dreams of being parents can come true. Family is all about unconditional love, respect, and support. We want to teach a child what that is all about. If you choose us, your baby will always know how much you love them and how brave and strong you are. We want our child to know their roots and who their whole family is. You will always hold a special place in our hearts and our families’ hearts for giving us this wonderful gift. We would not be able to have the blessing and honor of becoming a mommy and daddy without you!
God bless,
Jared and Kathryn

About Us
We met while golfing in a tournament for a fundraiser for our local fire department. Jared is a parts specialist, and Kathryn is a nursing assistant at a local hospital. Jared’s hobbies are working in the garage on projects, working in the yard, watching sports, and golfing. Jared has a loving and caring heart and is always willing to lend a hand. Kathryn enjoys a good romance movie and novel as well as golfing. We both enjoy taking our camper out, and our nieces and nephews often go camping with us. Kathryn has a loving heart and is always willing to help anyone in need. Our four-year-old nephew started calling Kathryn "Raw Raw" when he was two, and now that has become her new nickname everyone calls her. We are big Hawkeye and Chicago Bears fans. We also both cherish our special time we spend with our nieces and nephews.
Our Home & Pets
Our home is in central Iowa. We live one block from our elementary school and three blocks from our local daycare. We remodeled our home two years ago, and we recently fenced in our back yard. We host most of our family birthday parties and holiday celebrations in our home. Our home has been filled with many memories and cherished moments. We have two shih-tzus, Beethoven and Sassy. Kathryn has had Beethoven since he was eight weeks old, and we got Sassy when she was seven weeks old. Both dogs love to cuddle, play with toys, go for walks, and look out the window.
Our Extended Family
Kathryn’s traditions mostly revolve around Christmastime. The weekend after Thanksgiving, the tree and decor always went up. The whole family always got together at Grandma’s to make whirligig candy cane ornaments. All of the kids made cookies and candy with Grandma and the aunts. Every Christmas Eve, the kids got new pajamas and would drink cocoa while reading Twas the Night Before Christmas. Jared’s traditions include spending holidays at his grandma’s and doing crafts, mostly painting ceramics. They got a box of chocolate-covered cherries for Christmas from their parents and still do today. Kathryn did a lot of family camping and hiking. Jared and his family always went to the Iowa State Fair every year.
Most of our immediate family lives within five blocks of each other. Our family and friends are so happy and excited to be a part of this journey with us and can’t wait to meet our new bundle of joy! Kathryn is the youngest of four children, and Jared is the middle of three. Together we have over 100 cousins and nine nieces and nephews. Our first great-nephew was born in December 2020. That Christmas we dressed as Santa and Mrs. Claus for our nieces and nephews so they could get pictures taken with Santa.
What Led Us To Adoption
We started fertility treatments three and a half years ago and were not able to get pregnant. After the last treatment attempt, we realized this was God’s way of telling us he has a different plan for us. We were always open to adoption. Kathryn has a sister who was adopted by her dad. We both have adopted relatives, and they have been beautiful additions to our family. Adoption is the best miracle, and we both feel adoption is how God wants us to grow our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
