dear expectant mother

While we will never understand the position you are in, we are so incredibly impressed and grateful that you are considering us as possible parents to your child. We can’t imagine the feelings and thoughts you are having, but we would love for you to know that if you choose us, we will always love your child for whoever they are, provide any and every opportunity to them as they work their way through life and find things they enjoy, have lots of fun along the way, and ensure our home is a safe and welcoming environment.

We can only imagine you’re considering an adoption plan because you want your child in the best position possible, with lots of love, just enough goofiness, and the constant drive to ensure every decision is the best one for your child. We believe we are the people who can provide that.

We truly appreciate the time you’re taking in evaluating us as potential parents. We know you have so many decisions to make during this time, and we would love to try to put your mind at ease. We are here to support both you and your child, and this means supporting whatever type of relationship you’d like to have with your child. Whatever is best for your child is best for all.

About Us

Will’s friends would describe him as caring, patient, goofy, and a video game nerd. Kara’s friends would describe her as kind, loving, understanding, and a little goofy at times as well. We both work from home in software sales, at different companies. Kara is a sales engineer, while Will is a sales development manager. We both love watching hockey, and Will loves playing it once or twice a week on weeknights. Kara really loves anything crafty, and most of the time it is crocheting—blankets, sweaters, decor, you name it. We both like our fair share of video games as well. We built custom computers together so we can enjoy our games side by side. Other things we enjoy doing together are making meals, traveling (our most recent trip was to Iceland), going on nature walks, doing puzzles, playing with our cat, and watching movies.

Our Home & Pets

We live in a quiet subdivision in Illinois. There are many kids on our block, and during the summers, we have a block party where we all gather with food and games. We bought a fixer upper house, and we have renovated it entirely. Kara’s dad and Will have spent countless hours ensuring the house is safe and perfect for a family. We bought this house because we knew it would give our future children the best opportunities in school, hobbies, and sports (if they want to play them). We’re close to tons of shopping, great schools, and tons of activities like zoos, museums, and professional sports. We also have a cat named Keanu (after the movie Keanu) who loves lots of pets and cuddles.

Our Extended Family

We both come from large extended families. Kara’s dad is one of seven, and Will’s mom is one of six. Both families are Polish and love large gatherings with tons of delicious food. We both have one sibling, Kara with a sister and Will with a brother. We have grown up around a lot of cousins who now also have kids, and we hope to pass down our family traditions of gathering on holidays.

We do things like large Easter egg hunts, someone dressing up as Santa for gifts on Christmas, and cooking large meals together for any holiday. We live very close to Kara’s parents, so we spend a couple weekends a month with them for meals and other fun activities like Cubs games since Kara’s parents have season tickets. Will’s family lives all over the country, like Colorado, New York, and North Carolina, so we see them as much as we can. We really love that we came from a large family that has always stayed a part of our lives, even with the distance.

What Led Us To Adoption

We have always envisioned having a family together, but the route to get there was never set in stone for us. Adopting is something we have frequently talked about as we know we have a lot of love to share. We believe family is a choice and doesn’t have to be driven by blood.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
