Dear Birthmom

We are Juan and Felina and we would like to thank you for taking the time to read about us. We cannot imagine how difficult this is for you, but we do know you are loving and courageous for considering adoption for your precious baby. We know you want the best opportunities for your child. We admire and respect the love you have for your child and are forever grateful for considering us as the adoptive parents.

We can only imagine the dreams you have for your baby. If you choose us as adoptive parents, we can assure you our dream is to be the best parents we can be and to give your baby all the wonderful possibilities this life can offer. We will make a promise to you and your child to always provide a loving, safe, respectful, and nurturing home full of bedtime stories, building forts in the living room, trips to the park, and lots of love and laughter. We hope that our pictures and words give you an insight into the life that we have and the life we will build for and around your baby. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts for considering us.

About Us

Our love story began eight years ago when we met at work. Juan is an Occupational Therapist and Felina is a Registered Nurse. Even though the attraction was mutual, they kept a strict working relationship, but deep down inside the fireworks were going off. Felina was attracted to his shy smile and compassionate ways. Juan was attracted to her outgoing personality and passion for life. The casual friendship grew as they shared their common interests, such as competing in adventure races and obstacle courses. Eventually, their mutual love of country music, home projects, traveling, hiking, camping, competing in sports events, and cooking/baking led them to fall in love. They married in 2014 and established their careers and home while still finding time to travel whenever possible. Throughout all the years, their dream has always been to adopt and share this wonderful life with a beautiful son or daughter.

Our Home & Pets

Our home is a reflection of who we are. It is warm and filled with light in a quiet neighborhood with wonderful neighbors. We have a great school district, numerous parks with playgrounds, museums, and a wide array of community activities. The city is always preparing for events and holidays. We have three energetic and loving dogs: Jack, Brownie, and Buddha. They all love to play and be around kids.

Our Extended Family

Our lives have always been about family. We both come from Hispanic backgrounds and are fluent in Spanish and English. Felina comes from a large family with two sisters, two brothers, and 12 nieces and nephews. Juan is the older of two boys. His brother is married with a daughter and two sons. We are fortunate to have been raised by loving and nurturing parents. Time is always made for family dinners, movie nights, and birthday celebrations - there are always plenty between both families! Felina bakes a special birthday cake for everyone and, fortunately, she loves to bake and decorate while Juan is always ready to be the taste tester! We come together not only for fun but to help each other, such as painting our houses or preparing for storms and the clean up afterward. The love and support from both our families are with us through this journey of adoption.

What Led Us To Adoption

The conversation of adoption began very early on in our relationship. A medical condition called endometriosis resulted in surgery and never being able to have children naturally. Adoption was always our choice, but we waited until now so that our lives would be established. We can turn all of our focus and time to care for, love, nurture and provide for a child. We have both been surrounded by our nieces and nephews, but at the end of the day, we have always kept the dream of being mommy and daddy. We look forward to all the experiences of raising a son or daughter and being able to pass on our traditions, to give them a good education, and to provide a foundation of love, honesty, and respect to have a happy and fulfilling life.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
