dear expectant mother

We cannot express how grateful we are to be able to grow our family through adoption. We have the drive and desire to help a child grow into the person they will become. Thank you for considering us in such a big decision for you and your baby.

We will encourage and support our child in the activities they want to participate in. We see the fun of playing games, working with the animals, and sports. We love the extended families in the rodeo and church groups we participate in. We see our family enjoying the fun through the eyes of a little one: learning roll making and the joy of cookie decorating, the fun of riding ATVs and horses, the fun of playing fetch with the dog, the wonderment of watching a baby horse and cows grow, and the adventure of hiking and camping.

We will also enjoy life as they get older and make decisions for themselves to become a true individual. There are so many possibilities for a baby. We are looking forward to taking the journey with a precious child and helping them achieve their dreams.

About Us

We are simple country folk and active members of our church. We have about 15 acres with one old roping horse. We have plans to plant pasture this spring in order to bring home a few cows to raise. We help family and friends with their herds, which is always good times of laughter and fun while we rope, brand, and take care of other needs of the herds. Will enjoys a roping hobby, and Jody is a crafter in many different mediums. We met through the local PRCA Rodeo Association, where we were both members; however, due to college and boot camp timing, we did not meet again for several years. We dated for five years and now have been married for almost eleven years. We have learned to be a good team through all our dreams and achievements.

Our Home & Pets

We are in a rural area about 15 minutes from a major city. It is great to have both worlds at our fingertips. Our home is a three-bedroom, two-bath house with a large, open great room. We enjoy a large yard to run around in, a separate garden space, and a play structure. The roads are quiet enough for bicycling to the river just over a mile away, where it is fun to watch the boats go through the locks at the dam and to fish, swim, and canoe. We also can go to town to enjoy movies, hockey and baseball games, church activities, and hanging out with friends. We have an older horse named Jiggs, a young dog named Saddie, and some ranch kitties.

Our Extended Family

Our family is so excited we are moving forward with growing our family. We are lucky to have both of our parents close by and supportive. We have great holiday traditions of everyone gathering at Will’s parents’ house for Christmas Eve and Christmas morning. This includes his three sisters and their partners and his grandmother. We have a dinner of favorites, play cards or board games, and have breakfast in the morning after feeding the animals, followed by opening presents. Then we get to spend Christmas afternoon at Jody’s parents’ house for good stories and games with the siblings who are able to travel and friends who stop by.

Memorial Day and Labor Day weekends have traditions of camping or hiking with our friends. We have a group of about ten adults and seven kids who enjoy coming together to celebrate birthdays, anniversaries, and accomplishments. Plus we plan trips on the long weekends. This last year we spent the long Fourth of July weekend renting cabins two states over in the mountains and enjoyed hiking and local activities, including a parade and festival.

What Led Us To Adoption

Fostering and adoption has been a discussion between us during most of our relationship due to the knowledge that Jody would be unable to carry a baby to term. We thought fostering was the calling; however, after classes and learning more, we made the decision that we wanted permanence. We are now ready in our hearts and home to welcome an addition to our family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
