dear expectant mother
Having gone through the adoption process once before, we not only understand the joy and anxiousness we will have when becoming parents again but we also understand the strength that you have to put your child before yourself. We know the decision you have made is very personal and that you wish the best for your baby and we wish the same. Your child will always know the love that you have for him or her. We would be honored to play such an important role in your and your child’s life.
A few of our favorite things include loving to cook, visiting museums, and just goofing around at home; Halloween and Christmas are our favorite holidays. Things that are important to us include family, being kind and gentle to others, education, and creativity. These are just a few things we hope to share with our growing family.
Our thoughts are with you whether you choose us or another family. We truly hope you find the connection you are looking for and the perfect family for your baby.
We both love science! Jeff studied biochemistry in college and now studies medical devices to help people with seizures live better lives. Antonia went to medical school and now practices medicine as a family medicine physician. We both grew up in New Mexico and met in 2003. After falling in love, we got married in 2005 and spent our first years raising our pets while working and going to school. In 2014 we decided to expand our family through adoption. In 2016 we were blessed with our amazing daughter, and our world was turned upside down! We’ve loved every moment of learning to keep up with her and playing like children again. From tea parties to dinosaurs, we have let our imaginations run wild. We are all anxious to expand our family, and our little girl is really excited for a brother or sister to play with.
Our Home & Pets
Home for us is Texas. We live in a six-bedroom suburban home with a grassy back yard overlooking a small lake. We live in a large suburb of a very large city, so there is always plenty to do. We love museums, eating out, and going to the movies. We have an active toddler at home who we are getting ready to introduce to sports, maybe soccer or tee-ball! We also have Turner, our lab/pit mix dog who is super excitable and loving. Since we have a house much larger than we need, we often get family visiting from out of town. Gramme and Abuelita each have their own bedroom and come to visit at least three to four times a year.
Our Extended Family
Jeff grew up in New Mexico with his father, who passed down German cooking and a few German words, and his mother, who celebrated her Irish/English heritage by celebrating St. Patrick’s Day every year. Antonia grew up in northern New Mexico in a large Hispanic family that uses any excuse to be together, whether celebrating a birthday, camping, or just having Sunday breakfast with Gramps and Granny.
We feel very fortunate to have been able to combine many of our family traditions to make our own traditions. Our favorite thing to do is cook, and our second favorite thing is going home to New Mexico to visit family. They are all so happy that we have decided to adopt again and are practically packing their bags to come help out with the new baby.
Our Adoption Story
From the moment we met, we knew we wanted to start a family. After many conversations with each other and our doctor, we decided adoption was the best option for us. We are so blessed to have met the incredible woman who gave us “our” child. We say “our” because we know our daughter is not just ours. We feel very fortunate that our daughter has another family that loves her dearly. Even though we don’t get to see her birthmom often, we share pictures and stories with her, and she does the same for us. While this is the relationship we have with our daughter’s birthfamily, we are open to and will respect any type of relationship you feel comfortable with.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence
As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!Return to Waiting Families
