dear expectant mother
Dear Sweet Expectant Mother,
First of all, we want to say how much we appreciate the incredibly brave thing you are considering. We cannot even imagine what you must be thinking, feeling, or experiencing right now as you make this life-changing decision. We cannot begin to express our love and gratitude to you and for the hopeful gift of adoption.
We also want you to know how much we already love this sweet baby. Your baby is already in our hearts and thoughts every minute of every day, and we cannot wait to meet you both. We have big dreams for this child and cannot wait to see who they become in this world. We also recognize that what will be one of the most blessed and incredible days of our lives could very well be one of the hardest days of yours, but please know we pray for you to feel love and comfort at this time. Please know that if you choose to meet with us, we look forward to that day and would be so honored to be a part of this journey with you.
Much love,
Shane and Jamie

About Us
We are Shane and Jamie. Shane is hardworking, driven, a big dreamer, and so easygoing. He is contagiously optimistic, and loves life. He owns his own HVAC and Plumbing company, and is the best Dad to our two boys, and is so excited for the adoption journey we are on. Jamie is very compassionate, loving, and loves to help others. Jamie is a realtor and is currently enrolled in University pursuing a Business degree. Together we love concerts, amusement parks, camping, boating, vacationing, going out to eat, going to the movies, watching sports, playing games, cooking, and being with our friends and extended families. Some of our favorite places to vacation are Yellowstone, Hawaii, and Disneyland. We love adventuring, and just being together as a family.
Our Home
We live in Utah in a two-story townhome in a very safe suburban town with church, shopping, the library, parks, and schools all within a short walking distance. We live about five minutes from both sets of grandparents and have siblings and cousins close by as well. There is a great sense of community in our town. The city provides many activities throughout the year, including the rodeo, community plays, firework shows, and a meet and greet with Santa at Christmastime. Our splash pad in the summer becomes an ice skating rink in the winter, providing fun all year round.
Our Extended Family
We are very close with our extended families and live close to most of them. Shane has a sister who lives close by with her husband and two young boys, a brother who lives with his wife about an hour away, a sister who lives about five minutes away with her husband and two babies, and a younger brother who lives with his parents who live close by as well. We have Sunday dinners most weeks at Shane’s parents’ home.
Jamie’s parents live very close by too, and we spend a lot of time there playing yard games, board games, and card games and sharing meals with them as well. Jamie’s brother and his wife and three young children live about a half hour away. Her sister and her husband and two young daughters live out of the country with the military, but we remain close to them through text and phone calls. Jamie’s youngest brother is getting married this fall and is living just about a half hour away. We love to vacation, boat, camp, and just be together, and it’s so fun when all of the children get together.
What Led Us To Adoption
We are thrilled about the idea of adding another child to our fun and loving family. We have two biological sons but feel like our family isn’t quite complete. We aren’t able to have any additional biological children due to Jamie having a hysterectomy, but before that, we had already begun discussing adoption due to previous infertility issues. We are just so grateful for the chance to adopt and love another child. We have some friends who adopted through Angel and had an amazing experience bringing their daughter into their family. Our two boys are beyond excited at the thought of having another sibling. They talk about a baby daily, the experiences they will have, and the things they will do together.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.
Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.
The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.
Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
