Dear Birthmom

First, I would like to express that I am thankful that you are taking the time and consideration to even want to learn more about me. I have spent a great deal of time trying to find the right words to say to you, but I can only come up with two. THANK YOU!! I’m sure this is extremely hard decision for you and the strength you have is admirable. I would be honored to even be considered as a family for your child. After reading my profile I hope you know and feel that your child would be provided and loved for and your child will be the most important person in my life.

I hope throughout my profile you learned that I value family, friends, faith and education, which I plan to show your child these values as well. I have a very loving and supportive family and friends which I know will be a great atmosphere for your child to grow up in and they will be very loved by all. I believe that things happen for a reason and all these things have lead me to adoption. Every child is a gift. You would be giving me the greatest gift imaginable. Thank you for giving me the opportunity to introduce myself and my loving family to you.

About Me

Hi, my name is Dawn. I graduated from Johnson and Wales with a Bachelors degree in business management. Throughout the years, I have worked behind a desk using my accounting skills. Several years back, I changed jobs and began working as an employee specialist creating jobs, supervising, and supporting adults with challenges. This is such a rewarding job as I see the progress they make and know I am a part of their success. This job has taught me to have patience with everyone. I love country line dancing and have been a DJ for many events and I am also a line dance instructor. Other interests of mine are bowling, going to the movies, and plays. I go to various sports games like hockey, football and baseball. Living near the water has given me an opportunity to go to camp to learn how to sail and swim, which I enjoy greatly. I began roller-skating at the age of 3 and continued to compete until I went to college. I would very much like to introduce your child to skating and other sports and activities they would enjoy. These are the things that shaped my life and made me who I am today.

My Home & Pets

My town is a seaside community and has the best beaches in New England. Living in my childhood home has so many great memories that I know my child and I will keep adding to those memories. I have a bedroom (mine as a child) ready for a new baby. It is a bright spacious room with plenty of closet space, windows and enough for everything a growing child needs. My backyard would be a great place for a swing set and is big enough to run around and play. I have an above ground pool off the back of the house as well! There are many parks and playgrounds near my home in this small little town that has always been a great part of my life.

My Extended Family

My parents have been married 46 years and are really looking forward to be grandparents. I learned my love of family from my parents and grandparents. Having the loving family I do, I wish to give that same love to my child. For me family comes first; Sunday dinners, vacations visits with aunts, uncles and cousins makes up a good part of my life. My older brother lives in Tennessee with his wife on a farm. They are looking forward to being called aunt and uncle. This will be a great opportunity for my child to travel and enjoy the farm animals. I am a godmother to my cousin’s daughter. My parents have remodeled my grandparents’ home because my mother loves to cook for our family during the holidays and wanted to have the space for our whole family to spend quality time together.

What Led Me To Adoption

Growing up I always wanted to be a mother. When the time was right, I tried to conceive a baby through fertility treatments. They were unsuccessful, but that didn't make me give up on my dream to be a mom. I am so excited to be starting the adoption process to grow my family.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
