dear expectant mother

I want you to know I view adoption as a completely selfless act, one where you are putting your child’s needs first. I promise to always treat you with compassion and understanding and to assure you I am the right person to go on this journey with.

As an adoptive parent, I will be sure your child knows adoption is an act of love on your part. I am nothing but thankful for the opportunity to adopt. I haven’t been able to have a biological child, but I have always pictured myself as a mother. My extended family is growing, and through that, I’ve been able to see my parents step into the role of grandparents; it is a beautiful thing! I look forward to all things that being a mother will bring.

I want to assure you that my home and family are filled with love, laughter, and support for one another. No matter what obstacles may arise, I can assure you I will commit my life and whole heart to this child. Thank you for considering giving me the most precious gift one person can give another. I will cherish this act always.

About Me

I’m a fun-loving high school special education teacher and girls varsity basketball coach. One of the things I am most proud of is my ability to build positive relationships with my students and athletes. Outside of work, I enjoy spending time with my family and friends, who come from all different backgrounds; doing DIY projects around the house; exercising and playing sports, like softball and golf; reading or watching Netflix; or playing guitar. My favorite thing to do in the summer is to spend time at the beach or in the pool with friends and family. I like to drive on the beach, where I can watch the sunset and enjoy a bonfire. It’s beautiful!

My Home & Pets

I own a home with three bedrooms and two bathrooms, on half an acre. There’s a deck in the back that I helped build myself! My neighbors are wonderful, and the neighborhood is quiet, with minimal traffic. There are often families walking dogs or riding bikes in the evenings. I live near the local mall, and the town surrounding me is well developed, with the zoo and park being only miles away. The nearby beach is the main attraction. I have a nine-year-old dog, Zeke, who has quickly become my two-year-old niece’s best friend. He loves to run freely in the backyard and watch over the house from the bedroom when he’s inside.

My Extended Family

My family is very close knit. I’m the oldest of three and have one brother and one sister. My parents are still married and live in the same house I grew up in. My grandmother is an active part of our lives as well.

We all live within 30 minutes of one another and see each other weekly, usually for Sunday dinner. In the summers, we all meet at my sister’s, where she and her husband (and their two-year-old daughter) have a pool where we can swim. My favorite family tradition includes not only my immediate family but my extended family. My aunts and uncle and cousins and their spouses and children come for Thanksgiving—16 of them in total! We spend the long weekend playing games and laughing. Laughter is so important to our family!

What Led Me To Adoption

I’m excited to provide a healthy, loving home with a village to help raise a child. Though single, I own a home, am financially stable, and am ready to be a mother. I look forward to weekend adventures, homework at the kitchen table, and creating family traditions and memories. Having a child naturally hasn’t been part of God’s plan, but I’m fortunate to have this opportunity and to have the support of family and friends. I’m ready to make a child my number one priority and to give them my whole heart as well as a safe, happy, loving home. I will ensure this child knows how much he or she was loved by their birthmother and provide a sense of peace.

Choose a Family for
Your Baby With Confidence

As you browse our list of hopeful adoptive parents, you can feel confident in knowing that all of the adoptive families working with Angel Adoption are prepared to offer your baby a safe, stable, and loving environment along with a wealth of opportunities for a happy and fulfilling life.

Each adoptive parent has been thoroughly evaluated through a home study course conducted by a licensed agency. A completed home study means the family is emotionally, physically, and financially ready to adopt a baby.

The home study process includes assessments of each parent’s character, marital stability, financial situation, lifestyle, and medical history. The agency also runs background checks to verify there is no record of criminal activity or child abuse. In addition, a social worker will inspect the family’s home to ensure it is a safe environment for a child.

Furthermore, Angel Adoption requires each family to be educated on adopting and parenting. After a baby has been placed with the adoptive family, a social worker will continue to monitor and supervise the family. We go to great lengths to make sure all the families you have to choose from are going to be excellent parents for your baby!
